  • When I was young I visited Gettysburg and Arlington National Cemeteries and they were just interesting places to me then. Now many decades have passed and if I were to return I am sure that the effect would be deep and profound. The history of our species is strewn with an endless list of atrocities and injustices, all committed for supposedly noble reasons. Thanks for posting a beautiful aong and giving us a reminder that in addition to sorrow we also can create joy.
