It took ages training my face, would not recognise my eyes "searching for eyes" i pity anyone chinese looking to buy this app. It took 10 min training my face and then it wouldn't reconise it when trying to unlock. I set it so it would but then it was so insecure my cats face unlocked it!

I just purchased and installed this app. Is it normal for it to take 5+ minutes for training? Seems excessively long. It has failed 2/6 attempts. Maybe I need more training sessions? @marktwain3 Read the reply above, its increased on the failures (the timeout is 30 seconds), RealTime on the verifications (actually the video is a little slower than realtime due to DisplayRecorder recording in the background at the same time as well)

It uses 2 different algorithms to verify, one is good for accessing 3d biometrics, the other is good at weeding out false positives based on feature analysis, it may very well be possible to do with a picture, but I tried with a picture of myself on my Macbook Pro screen and it wouldnt go through :P

A lot of people were wondering about the speed, it actually loads a lot quicker when using, Display Recorder kind of slows it down (RecognizeMe does a lot of processing and trying to screencapture at the same time slowed things down a bit) Actual time on iPhone 4 from button press to camera load is about 1-2 seconds, and verification can be done in as little as 1-2 seconds as well (though depending on threshold can take 10-20 secs)

@Shehzaad13 Impossible with the iPhone screen, the density of the touch sensors is way too low, and the resolution of the cameras is too low to pick up fingerprints evenly at the minimum focal length (you can get /some/ fingerprint detail sticking it right next to the camera, but it cant focus at all that close)
