@Choowbz We are not "pulling out" in fact we are digging in, adding more forces, building up arms, repositioning entire fleets, building new bases and further training indigenous forces to do our bidding. This war is scheduled to surpass this administration and possibly even the next.

@moreaudan interesting question....hmmm I've been studying this civilian institution for some time and to answer your question: No they never really quit, they just retire. They can however express a public opinion, which may or may not be the truth. I have however seen very interesting interviews which seem quite candid relating to national issues, ref: Nugan Hand, Iran Contra and BCCI Banking scandals where Congress interviewed "ex-CIA" agents. In then end your probably correct however.
