Looking forward to your Monday report. I'm not sure what to invest in anymore if anything at all. Maybe investments are all finished. Obviously something is turning positive in the market but I'm no insider. Do you have any interim statements before Monday?
personally, i think we ought to abandon oil imports-utilize our reserves for the next 8-10 yrs- convert totally to natural gas..this will produce a revolution in worldwide energy markets as well as create a different superior marketplace for american business and labor--Robert Flower
the 20000 jobs are construction jobs which have nothing to do with
overseas labor-our american unions will see to that....having owned oil licenses myself i know well the process and the intricacies...we are now net oil exporters so the least advantage we can derive from something such as the k pipeline,ie. the immediate availability and convenience of oil supply which the pipeline will certainly provide, the better it is for our energy position.. I've storm chased extensively out in western Nebraska and if you want to see some of the "Oracle of Omaha's" train yards; I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A LARGE TRAIN YARD IN ALL MY LIFE. Yes he has put the breaks on Keystone for now but a world controversy will always open it back up. There's actually a war going on between the energy czars and the Obama administration. I think you might start using the word ASSASSINATION in the vocabulary.
Brazil has a lot of potential and it is finally being realized. Loads of natural resources and good partnerships with other nations, (i.e. business partners). The trade wars and currency wars have just begun. Lets hope they don't develop into REAL world war...
The Oracle of Omaha will fight against anything that is good for the country, if it is bad for him. He is a typical Fascist. Capitalism is a great thing, and government is or can be a great thing, but when they are in collusion against the people, that is Fascism. That is where we are today. The government protects the capitalists at the expense of the rest of us.
Looks like 08 all over again. 08s will come closer and closer together. Pretty soon we will see 08 every six months or so, until it is 08 all the time. Then comes collapse and real change.
Warren Buffet is a leach. He got 15% of the tarp money.
This china RE bubble is somewhat envy. They have enough $ to do whatever they want and we are broke. But CNBC-BS will milk it to get people off the 200 TRILLION we owe.
IF the XL pipeline is so great ,let private investors fund it.
Agree w/Van1976, the big corps will bring in cheap foreign labor, few US workers employed.
Protectionism AFTER , it all collapses. Competing against chindia wages isn't going to work for the FAT, lazy US worker.
20, thousand jobs from the XL pipeline?...ha ha yes jobs... recruited workers from other countries...like Iraq or New Orleans reconstruction, no Iraqis or Americans got jobs, it was workers from other low paying countries that for a lot of them jobs never got paid--LOL...those are the jobs that will be "created". And to think XL will lower oil prices...that oil will go on the "world market" to the highest bidder, don't you know how that works?..."Dr Bob" your losing credibility...
67% chance of an upmove Monday the 2nd? The markets are closed Monday.
