I like his videos alot but I try no tto copy anyones ideas without giving them credits in the video. You will see this is the upside down fire and the tarp video and many more. I said in this video that Dave Canterbury shows how to make the four strand plait. As for the rifle sling, I was practicing braids from a book I have and experimented with the ropes.
