You are now protecting tomatoes (seriously) which are grown on a boat which is your new haven called "Raven's Nest". Prescott left for unknown reasons which may have caused the collapse of the COG but returns at the beginning of Gears3. There's a ton of knew weapons like an explosive which can drill through the ground and a battle rifle. There are mech suits with a turret and rocket launcher in the game. Multiplayer levels change during play.
