  • what is the music?

  • hey this thing was in the game AC brotherhood, i had to search it to see if it was a real thing

  • @shoeib123 Yep, games can be educational too. Some designers do their homework (research) and others don't. It would have been really neat to see a change in the battlefield if the Borgia did mass produce it successfully without any interference.

  • It looks just like a funny machine which can move against any direction... just don´t know about moving upwards...:-)... and as a machine which can move on any ground, just don´t know about moving on the waters, or fires ...etc,

  • Did anybody see UFO-s before Leonardo da Vinci?

  • if these inventions were actually made and not just "Drawings" or "Prototypes" by now 21st century we could have much more advanced technology O.o

  • if the Duke taked seriously Leonardo's invention, then Tuscany ruled the world

  • assasins creed:D

  • @GRYBASpakalnute

    yeah xDDD

  • assassin's creed brotherhood :D

  • too bad ezio destroy this...

  • Could you imagine his potential it he was alive today?!

  • this was in assassins creed brotherhood

  • what's the song that plays at 0:35?

  • how freaking unpractical is this

it could get stuck on the mud, uneven territory

not to mention easily destoryed by fire arrows

da vinci is a great artist, end of story. his other passions are amateur

  • @superawesomefilm

Did the UK do better in WWI?

  • @xuser48

They sure did in Cambrai 1916. Before the war came to an end the Germans were working on a copy of the British Mark V tank.

  • @superawesomefilm There is an opening on top where they would squirt, trickle out water to stop fires. Before a battle they would moisten the wood with water.

  • @superawesomefilm amateur? do you realize that back then this is considered beyond its time? He thought of things that were considered far too advanced at his time such as the flying contraption. Todays time and his past are two very different scenarios. If he actually had more than limited things to work with we would have a very different life.

  • @superawesomefilm And by the way, he contributed more to us than you ever will.

  • da vinch is amazing

  • Leonardo da Vinci is a great man

its hard to believe that he is from 15th centry and he has invented many things we use in 21th centry

  • To bad the he didnt got recognized by his work. like the flaying thingy.

  • looks like a flying disc...

  • estupenda animacion

  • that video reminds me on monty python

  • Who plays the music?

  • para su conocimiento estaba recubierto con metal no era madera por fuerA

  • Leonardo gave aliens the UFO secretly

  • helicopter was first invented by him.

  • Co za asy

  • @landgreen1012 dit is nie snaaks nie

    --

translate from afrikaans to englih to figure it out

  • @SuperLbptutorials Not anymore

  • i wish i could keep you!

  • wow thank you bro

  • "I wish I could keep you." --Ezio Auditore (Assassin's Creed Brotherhood)

    I fele ya, Ezio. XD

  • thumbs up if you saw this on assassins creed brotherhood!

  • is that a tank design like from assassins creed brotherhood

  • FIYAR TEH CANNONZ!

  • WHAT IS 15TH CENTURY TANK COMPARING TO TESLA CANNON?LOLOL

  • y cuantas muertes hubiera ocacionado, eso es un invento negativo, mejor no inventar cosas asi

  • This vehicle is in the game called: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

  • @MrNiko0220 yup

  • @MrNiko0220 i just did that mission

  • How did he plan to move that thing ? and wasn't it an easy target for this time artillery as it was made of wood ?

  • @masterco93 im pretty sure it was like the flinstones car

  • @masterco93 he planned to move it by the crank system inside and the artillery part well i agree

  • man if he had started an empire with this we would've been royaly screwed

  • ha both tanks died :D

  • I think it would be very smart if a faction in that time has used that machine to conquer the world. I think that the people who have lived then should pay more attention at Leonardo da Vinci. If they want they could use parachutes and tanks, ...

They would be the best faction ever. But nobody used it. To bad but that just history.

  • amazing!

  • I just saw this thing made on Discovery. They have series called Da Vinci's Machines in which modern day constructors build Da Vinci's machines with the materials he would have used en with Da Vinci's drawings. Very interesting: last time I saw it they built some sort of catapult, and now a medieval TANK, complete with the cannons!

  • So It just goes forward and backwards?

  • Did that thing come in use very much after Da Vinci?

  • @Herrasmiesvaras

Probably it wasn't even made for Da Vinci was far ahead of his time. As I said before I just saw this thing made on Discovery's Da Vinci's Machines. A professor claimed there is no evidence that this thing was actually made or put in use.

  • yeah...wooden tanks not a good idea. They had fire back in Da Vinci's time guys. Sorry to break it to you. Great invention (if leonardo could ever actual make it); however, it wouldn't be very practical. Easy to defeat with gun powder. The cost to make a full-plated tank would've been more than any noble would've been willing to spend. Also very easy to defeat.

  • @manmythlegend12 then they could have made it out of something tougher like steel

  • @edwinm1 Steel was not easy or cheap to manufacture in Da Vinci's time. It wouldn't have been worth it.

  • @manmythlegend12

I thought so either. But how can you get close to the tank to put it on fire or so without getting hit by the cannons which fire in all directions?

  • @Superpiair1 flaming arrows or cannons that can launch as far as or farther than those the wooden tank fires with

  • @manmythlegend12

Yes, I also thought of that. But in the show I mentioned below they also claimed that Leonardo himself said the machine wouldnt work if it wasnt followed in combat. So maybe there was a strategy to counter that threat.

  • holly shit its the rolling saucer!!

  • He probably made that for Ezio to defeat the templars

  • @JDOG5Ox5OTv Probably... heh heh.

  • @JDOG5Ox5OTv

You know there is life beyond computergames..... :-)

  • @TayouJin There´s a difference between providing movement over water, and providing movement over land. The engineering involved is a lot simpler to build a large boat than to build a large rolling vehicle the size of said boat.

  • are we sure its da vinci's work?

  • @TayouJin As you said yourself, that´s a boat. This is a tank.

  • Whats the music startig around 00:25 ?

  • Anyone got anything on his theory of evolution? I can't find it anywhere!

  • i need as much stuff as possible about Leo da Vinci for a project

  • He had 17 famous paintings and 5000 pages of notes about various subjects such as machinery, weaponry, mathematics, botany, anatomy, and astronomy, just to name a few. I'm sure you'll find more than enough information if you look for it

  • @Bugattiman1011 He had over 17.000 pages of notes in those subjects, but unfortunately, some of it is lost.

  • This is good in concept, but would have no practical use.

  • course it would have practical use.

    its a tank.

  • DId you look at the thing...to work properly it would have to be defended on the exterior, which then makes the purpose of it useless, since its line of sight would be blocked.

  • By that logic, wouldn't the modern tank also be useless?

  • Have you ever seen the defense mechanisms of a modern tank. If not go look it up.

  • Which mechs specifically?

  • right facist wrent he,typical italian they change thier relgion then they start building war machines like no other, but why given the italian history why didnt he do armoured tanks.now looking closer he was in space so he would have had his first star wars programme, that was a spaceship he beat the yanks and russians.devinci aint no genius he was a hoody and we all know it.same corse as newton.there arent any geniuses only those who find what is already here for our own distruction ,nuclear bomb

  • wtf you talking about?

  • I can't even understand your comments, you're fucking stupid.

  • Where did you get this information?

  • i always thought this to be one of da vinci's most amazing inventions. It's like he knew what tanks would eventually look like.

  • But.. The song really sucks=?

  • He deliberately misled those who had no vision, and those who were violent. His cryptic puzzling designs -once solved - proved to be very effective.

  • sept his flying machines. he had the right theory, but only 1 or 2 of them workd.

  • Alot of the things he made worked.

  • not all...

  • Yeah, right. Leonardo was stupid, you are smart...

  • **** **** **** **** **** ****

  • WOW!

DICE should consider adding this machine to their tanks in Battlefield: Bad Company 2

  • Funny.

  • lol, comparing you to the greatest genious of the history...you suck -.-

  • are u god..or pig god

  • this aucally works watch the re inventores thier so cool they do shit like this and they made it and it works all 36 canons fired it looked so cool they went one by one all around also it moves but very slowly they used 4 rugby players to move it and they said ti was hard also one of them can be the lookout and shoot at people getting to close they shot at it with muskets and bows arrows bounced off and musket balls jsut ricoshated off cause of the angle and they did say the mistake was on purpo

  • it's a 15th century tank!!!

  • @drider400 my parents my grandparents my grandarents say that related to leonard davinci he hes my great great great great great grandfather

  • @MrGodofwar41401 Leonardo was gay. He never had kids...

  • @MrGodofwar41401 You can't be related directly to Leonardo Da Vinci, because he was suppostedly a homosexual, and never had a kids, not even a female lover throughout his entire life.

  • Very nice video!

  • Nice presentaion, I'm sure he would appreciate to effort.

  • he designed the wheels to spin that way on purpose.he did that to avoid them been copied. da vinci used to do that type of things a lot, in his anatomic drawings he put a leg in the middle of the brain or digestive organs to confuse people

  • Leonardo's tank is not made to go straight. He designed the back wheels to spin in the opposite direction of the front wheels.Perhaps this is a simple mistake in the construction of the plans,or(what I like to think)keeping his plans safe from those who would copy his design(Imagine yourself build a thing complex and costly then it turns out it does not work, you would give up thinking it's fake or flawed)Ingenuous or not,Leonardo had been in the right place at the wrong time "period." Sorry LdaV.

  • Hard To Believe that Da Vinci Invented So Many Things We use Today...

  • @aukai102706 he also was obssesed with water

  • @aukai102706 Did you know he made robots?

  • @GuerreroXBI I sure did.. Isnt that amazing, he was so ahead of his time...I think if he was born last century he still would be waaaay ahead..lol

  • Interesting - in this animation the gears are drawn so the machine would work, In the original sketch, the gears are drawn in a way that would not work!

  • alya de puit de leonardo de vinci grande bola bola bosca el tutorial..

  • hey...donde puedo encontrar un tutorial para hacer mi prpoi carro da vinci de batalla??

  • it's a good thing, these war machines weren't built, could you imagine the chaos across europe, if these things were really built, it would be like a World War, centuries earlier. Wise as he is Genius that he was secret about his work.

  • Oh, it's a vary bad thing! If an Italian state had created those machine, we 'd have returned to be a world great power, like the ancient Rome! The Austrian Empire, The United Kingdom, The Holy Roman Empire German ... they 'd have been nothing near us!

  • Yeah lol, there would have been the Tuscan Empire overunning Europe!

  • u should put on his pyramid tank!

  • pretty much the first tank!

  • Leonardo Was a damn genios!!!!!!!

  • Trabajazo y excelente homenaje a Leonardo!!!

Para cuándo más??? Podremos ver también un vídeo del making off???

    Enhorabuena a los dos!!!

  • Ole, ole y ole! Por fin lo terminasteis!!

    Mi enhorabuena toñinoooooo.

    Preparando el proximo?
