@ObbiShade He's using the shift assist that's an option on the S1000RR. For $435.00, it's a pretty good deal. As long as you don't let off the throttle or touch the clutch, the shift assist will do a fast electronic shift for you with a tap of the toe. Currently, the shift assist is for upshifts, only. Downshifts require the use of the clutch.

cont'd.... FYI. my S1000RR got a full Akrapovic shorty system with BMC-Racing filter and Bazzaz unit with its self-mapping unit, I also have BST carbon-fiber wheels including ceramic ball-bearings... plus many cosmetics. which means my bike theoretically should have much more power than you do.

My point is to correct you with the power interpretation... 205 is for sure the crank HP.

Jonathan... I am sure the 205 hp is a crank power not at the wheel. I have 2011 S1000RR. at the Ducati dyno which reads reads 4 extra hp over SAE dyno-jet system and I got 211.7 and that makes it 207.7 roughly on SAE and I am talking about crank horsepower. at Ducati dyno the rear-wheel-hp red 194 and in the next day I dynoed the bike at SAE system and it showed me 190 rwhp..... cont'd

Awesome sound!!! I just demo'd the BMW yesterday and can't imagine more power on top of what it has now....INSANE! OK but did the throttle response get any smoother after the PC was put on? In race mode, you know it can be a little jerky at first twist of the wrist. Also, the dealer I went to is really pushing the Akrapovic exhaust, cause of mapping and stuff. Did u have anything like that happen or does the devil map just as good? Cause I like the Dev Ex a lot better.
