The S2000 CR is a waist of money because the engine is exactly the same as the 2004-2008 s2000. the only differince is the ground effects and the suspension. i would rather stick to my 2003 S2000 which has more HP stock and redlines at 9,000 RPM and save about 10,000 dollars and buy coilovers, the wing, and the 2.4L stroker kit. and have about 2,000 dollars left over with a much better car.

you're dumb. you're comparing a brand new car to a used one. but it you compared brand new price of both the CR isnt much more.

and you hp is rated higher because sae changed the hp ratings in 04 of all cars so they're all lower.

Engine the same. Suspension stiffened significantly. Lots of chassis reinforcements. Faster steering ratio. Lighter weight.

CR is actually ranked above the JDM Type S. Uehera said it him self.

CR gets: Wider 255 series and grippier tires (used on the NSX-R, RE070), slightly stiffer suspension, shift light, and of course the hard top with special cover behind the seats.

That's not a CR... that's a Type-S. It still has the soft top, and is missing the stickier tires and rear brace
