If blacks only vote for folks on the basis of skin color then why didn't they vote for Mike Steele(the black candidate)over the white candidate in Maryland.Or,why didn't they vote for Blackwell(the black candidate)for the gubenatorial race in Ohio?Why don't they overwhelmingly support Condy Rice,Powell,or Thomas?Better yet,why were blacks so cautious initially about Obama? If black people were voting for Obama in large margins simply because he's black, then Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Carol Moseley Braun and Shirley Chisholm would've received similar support...but guess what... THEY DIDN'T! Yes Obama's taking 90% of the black vote and WV exit polls showed you a small reason why. Black people see a candidate they can believe in, while many whites simply don't trust having a black man in office.

Actually it was 35% of voters, not just Clinton voters. And the media is making it out like it's all racism when most of that could have come from whites voting FOR Obama. The question was "Did race influence the way you voted" that just as well could have been whites or blacks that want a black man in office.
