@DarkPrinceNH5570 because the pharaoh is like a god to them, plus the bodyguards are Medjai, in part 2 the Medjai appear to be muslims, as they takbir (Allah Akbar) before fighting the warriors of Anubis, but continue to follow some beliefs of Ancient Egypt. because in real life some egyptians still follow some beliefs of Ancient Egypt.

It could but if he looked at her hands, there'd be nothing; no paint. XD Besides she wouldn't risk touching herself recklessly. Those paints are there for a reason. Many of the Pharoah's concubines were painted daily so if someone touches them the Pharoah would know. If it's smeared both her and her man would be punished; whether she had a man or not doesn't matter. ;D
