Atheists don't understand religion. It's basically a "no accountability" belief system in itself, and I don't know many "happy" atheists. If an Atheist DID believe in God he would therefore be ACCOUNTABLE to that God. So No God...No accountability to that God..and thus I can do immoral things and not have to worry about an afterlife of hell...because...no God..no hell...no accountability..HOWEVER I do believe that God sent Himself in the flesh to die as a final sacrifice for mankind's sins.

It's a little difficult to disprove that which is un-proven. They are myths written down in story form to signify the sun and its movement through the sky and time. This of course IS provable and why each religion is derived or similar to others.

But I realized that I didn't really need to believe any of it is true to be a good person (it says things like you shouldn't eat seafood, or you can own slaves, or if your daughter gets raped she has to marry the guy, and just a whole bunch of things that have nothing to do with being a good person at all).
An afterlife may be nice, but there's no reason to think there is one.
So enjoy this one life.

The Old Testament is history, and prophesized the coming of Jesus the Redeemer. Everything has been overruled when He came. Now is the time of the New Testament. Anyway, you don’t have to believe in Him if you don’t want to. If you have read and heard the truth and found it to be utter nonsense, no one can make it otherwise for you.
