Im only 17... I missed the glam explosion and great music like this =( However, I have turned this into a friday night party staple with me and my friends. We all get drunk and listen to "Party Hardy" We all jump up and down when he says "feet won't touch the grounf" then we spin around in circles when he says 'head spin round and round." So much fun!
Hey just come back again to watch this! Still LOVE it! Just reminissing since Henrik from Dirty Looks passed away a few days ago and TEEZE was a band from back in those days of my childhood when they all rocked!
the mighty metal shop turned me onto this band when i was like 12. about 12 years ago i was in lansdale pa delivering coca cola to some recording studio. they had a poster of roughhouse on the wall. i asked the guy inside if that was teaze. he said he had no idea . the poster was there when he started workin there. i went home and dug out the old teaze cassette , but it was warped. i found the cd on a website somewhere. if anyone wants a copy i would gladly mail it to you..
One of my older sister's boyfriends gave me a copy of this on a blank cassette over 25 years. I had no idea who it was at the time up until a few days ago. All I could remember was the line, "You treat me like a pest, nothing more, nothing less". Brings back so many memories. Thank God for the internet!
@KISSFAN1970 You would be right! That was how I heard it way back then and only having a copy and no liner notes I sung whatever I heard even if it made no sense. But, you have to admit that "friend" and "less" are quite a stretch when rhyming.
great memories i grew up and went to school with these guys use to jam with greg mallack, remember dave weakley asking me to get a band together back in junior high, great time seeing these guys playin everywhere, still talk to them to this day.
If you still got a copy of their stuff, i would like to have some. I wore mine out back in the day. Heard this and started singing, It all came back to me. MAN Those where the daze!
Great memories of an amazing band. I think I have seen every show in the NY, NJ, PA and CT area. They never recieved the credit they deserved. I curse Columbia records for making the guys wimp out and loose their originality. Some 6 fixture fool messed up a great band. Brian Stover rocks!!!!!!
Thanx for sharing all the TEEZE stuff! Freakin' awesome! I have seen em numerous times in Central Pennsylvania. Most memorable times were at The Strand Theater in Sunbury, PA opening for KIX! The day before they opened for KIX they were at a local mall signing autographs! So I have this album autographed! ALWAYS loved these guys!
Thanks for the story, I bet that was awesome.. I have always loved this band but I was at the time too young and lived in the wrong country (U.K.) to go and see them....
Takes me straight back to 1985 and dancing like a madman to this,.. and Party Hardy,.. at the Palais in Nottingham,.. Before Rock City even had a rock night !!! Great Times,....
Cinderella used to openup for Teeze. The syncro was cool, they used hang upside down from the rafters at the old Empire in Philly and climb ontop of the pa system and that was Cool!
thanks sooooooooooo much for posting this one !!! i bought this album just because they looked like they would sound good and shazamm! still looking for Teeze/Teeze on cd...someone help me?
Awesome band! I saw these guys back in '85 in Williamsport, PA. Their dressing room was the basement next to the furnace! Very down to earth guys and easy to talk to - weren't stuck up at all...maybe that's why they didn't make it huge. Teeze's PA follow was strong though. I remember them doing the synchronized left/right sway on stage and the guitar flips way before the bands that hit it big like Poison and Cinderella - 2 more PA bands. Thanks for the post - get their album if u can.
Wich Dead End Kids you talking about??? There was the Scottish 70s Glitter rock band from Scotland wh were massive in the UK or are you talking about the band from New Jersey?? Bill Mattson from the Jersey band is a very underatted vocalist but their music was very average in my opinion......
teeze boys were great at live performance... but such a underrated local band here.

How can there be no footage of all the shows they did at this period. Cant believe no one has some footage. Their shows were the best.
