yeh, blow gently into the microphone and it picks up the vibrations to make the sound. Its really good because its actually sensitve enough to react to how hard you blow, ie the harder you blow, the louder the note.

no idea - im using a iphone 3g, im asuming it ould work the same on the older one if the mic set up is the same. But i also presume this product was developed using iphone 3g.
