  • Bob Stroud's voice is so great and the harmony the band comes in with at the end is simply breathtaking. Miss hearing Bob Stroud sing--definitely raised the bar a notch for this favorite Chicago group--the two guitarists are absolutely outstanding. We never knew names back in the day of who was who, but great music doesn't need names...the music speaks for itself.

  • I grew up hearing their great music from Downers Grove illinois in the 60's

  • I saw this group at a place called the cow palace in fond du lac, wi. in the mid 60's. Is there anyone out there that was there at that point in time?

  • This was my VERY FAVORITE SONG EVER growing up... My sisters and I would sit up on our roof in Wheaton and DREAM about the Cryan Shames... course I always got Toad :) AWESOME group!! They have my heart :) thanks for posting!!

  • The Cryan Shames are and will always be on my "short list". Please come back to Waterfest in Oshkosh WI. in '09. It would make my summer!!

  • Wonderful tune my friend. Brings back some great memories. Thanks.

    Dan
