I know site reading is important. But I only use it to learn new songs. It isn't as fun as just playing the song from "feeling" which notes are coming next. It's like reading a story vs telling it. Everyone has there own preference.

Wow this actually appeals so much to me. I play Chopin etudes, ballade 2 in F major, Beethoven appassionata etc. etc... But I suck terribly at sight reading :D I have an extraordinary memory which I've just been relying on always

It's true what you say, because i can play songs such as Maple Leaf Rag and The Entertainer (I like ragtime) however I can not sight read particularly well and I am not good at fingering.
