Here's the fundamental problem w/ this type of deconstruction: it leads nowhere. Once you have deconstructed an idea or institution, what do you replace it with?

Certainly, you can make your own decisions for yourself. But, you can't then make decisions for others. Yet, deconstructionists try to tear down institutions and replace it with their own (imposing their own structure on others), never apply the same deconstructionist razor to their own creations.

i think ToK drives everyone mad...i just graduated this past may and took ToK during my stint in IB at Bell High School and i remember going insane with it...but it was a lot of fun too, so it was cool...you could have also addressed such issues as would a fly w/o wings be a walk, if tin whistles are made of tin, are fog horns made of fog, why do we drive on parkways and park on driveways, why is it a TV set if there's only one, a pair of scissors if it's only one, etc...but highly hilarious...
