That is the plant Im named after <3 In Japanese the Chinese Lantern is called Hozuki, Hozuki Matsuri< if Im not mistaken, is like a Japanese mother's day and the hozuki plants are givin to those who want to bear children and also given to mothers as gifts. The orange seed pod protects the seeds all winter kind of like a mother protecting their child.
