In 2006, it was "good Rex, bad Rex" and he started all 16 games. Started out hot for 5 weeks, had 6 turnovers in AZ on Monday night in Week 6, got pummeled by Miami in week 9, and embarrassed himself in week 17 on Monday night against GB by saying he was concentrating on what he was doing for NEw Years Eve instead of the game. Rex played all 19 games that year

have any of you actually played football? Grossman last year never had a offensive line, a receiving game nor a running game to open up the play action pass. I guarantee you that if Rex played this year with Forte and the offensive line, he'd be 10x the qb Orton is. It's ridiculous you guys act as if it's all his fault.

Incorrect EB. Rex did NOT lead us to a superbowl. The defense and special teams is what lead us to the Superbowl. Give credit to where its due. Notice when we went to the superbowl, our defense was the best it has been in years. Rex had very little to do with it, in fact Rex arguably singlehandedly lost us the Superbowl that year. But have it your way, knowing the idiocy of our team's managers and owners, Rex will be here for another season and suck again. No more excuses after this year.

Rex Grossman is short for a QB! It's not his fault! Lol I love that part. Grossman is by far the most inconsistent QB in the league. Rex is every teams favorite player when they play the Bears. When rex had a good running back in Thomas Jones and a good offensive line, (that hadn't aged 20 years in 2 months), he led his team to the superbowl in his first year starting. This year, with an unhealthy defence, the offence was on the feild way more, and with cedric benson not cutting it for the running game and the offensive line getting man handled, Rex had a rough year. Say what you want but he came back strong until his injury, and he is the best option for next year. bring Rex back

i like what you have just said every football is a team sport, look at the Patriots, their o-line protects Tom Brady for like 12 seconds in each drop back making look way better than he is, if the Bears fire Ron Turner, and try to build an offense areound Grossman and get a speed back to go along with Benson they could be contenders.

McMahon, how did Rex choked he had a bad game but the defense of the Bears was flat out terrible. Who's Kyle Orten, it's Kyle Orton. Orton i don't like for some reason i think the Bears D except for Briggs and mike brown are trying to get rid of Rex. They play so terrible when he's in and when Orton goes in he has an average game and people are saying that he put 30 points on the Packers when it was the D and the bears special teams.

Brett Favre plays exact same way Rex does, and he has gunslinger attitude, Favre has most interceptions thrown, Packers were patient with Favre a second round pick and look whats happened. Patience is a virtue, people have to realize the reason he forces the ball is because of having one of the worst receiving corps in the league 2nd in drops. At the end of the Rex's season he was playing really well against the Raiders, Broncos, Seahawks, and Giants all those teams have some of the best pass defenses in the league. You may say the Raiders, guess what the reason the Raiders suck is because their offense sucks their defense is good.

When the fuck did you hear the bears got two good receivers Berrian is the one of the most inconsistent targets. In beggining of 06 Rex went in a stretch of 20 Tds and 3Ints. If they built a team around him and Benson the Bears could be one of the contenders for a long time. They need a younger line. They got the defense now they should built the offense. Whatever quaterback the Bears will have they will always be ripped apart by the Chicago Media thats what happened at the end of McMahons stay.

right, with the 190 yards he had against new orleans. im pretty sure the 35 points werent all scored by the O. they got good field position on a let of thoe drives. How about 06 when they were up 40-0 on 49ers or 37-6 againt seattle, or the 26-0 agaisnt packers. Orton didnt go 13-3 or get to the super bowl

fellow bears fans i kno this is late but i just saw this vid. big deal we beat green bay twice this year. lovey smith is 6-2 against them big deal. we finished 7-9 with the same team we had last year except for thomas jones. this just proves to me that our team was a fluke. we will never be good with grossman as a qb he is terrible.
