Hello!!! I was just wondering what are you putting on your hair before you apply your conditioner?? Also is your hair wet or dry during this process for your technique??
Hi Miss april, thank you so very much for sharing , i learn so much from your channel, i use to get relaxer on my hair in they were no good ,back in june i stopped going to the salon to get them, i had to wait for my natural curly hair to grow out, i got my 2nd cut in oct 2010 i am now natural, i am now learning how to really take care of my hair, by watching your videos i am learning alot, i never know you had to detangle hair like this, thank you for sharing i need to learn this :)
@Naturalindianbeauty Hey there Goddess! I'm so glad you are on your way! Using conditioner before shampooing is something I have been doing for a long time. As a kid, I use to put lotion in my hair to detangle; same concept :) please stay in touch! I will be watching you along the way!
@Apriluv7779 , that is awesome, i got me some conditioner so i will be detangling my hair every time i wash, i sure will keep in touch, glory be to GOD for you , take care in have a bless in peaceful day , keep in touch is well , GOD bless your family now in forever more :)
@gucci51080 I need to do a couple of new ones! THanks for the reminder. I will see if I can find the old ones. If not, I will try to make time to do some new ones :). I hope you are well!
@astrozier1 I have been using this technique a long time. As a child, I use to put lotion in my hair to detangle; same concept before companies began formulating and marketing leave in lotion conditioners LOL! Thank you. Let me know how the technique works for you. I use cheap conditioner for the purpose of detangling.
@tamoniva12 Yes, it works very well with braids. I also use this method to take down my twists if they become tangled rather than take them down dry. Thanks for staying in touch!
@Apriluv7779 That is so true! I fell in that same category once apon time lol. I thaught the only way my hair can reach my back is if i relaxed it because tightly coiled hair wont grow as long as straight hair. I transition for 4 months, then I did my bc on sunday 11/07/10...The sisters on youtube taught me alot. I didnt know a thing about how to take care of my natural hair and honestly, I never knew the texture of my natural hair. I never knew how it looked..how it felt..its curly! I love it!
you have awesome hair April! i like this song, who is the artist?

Your method is really good. Lately I've been putting it in braids as I go but I'm going to try your method also.

@dayAKAlovey I can't wait for you to grow your hair out either! I'm tired of people believing black women can't grow long hair because we can!
