I bet you guys are responsible for those gorgeous 8/10 per lb scallops I get from Costco. Seared in a hot pan... add a little ginger, soy sauce and lemon juice and ...well words fail me. The ocean shelf of Nature's Larder just must be the best part. Thanks for bringing me my little bit of heaven. The money is good, but the life can be hard.
Hey get off there ass, there probably just tired thats all. If you had to wonk like that all day wouldn't u start to go slow. Besides I don't believe you could go faster then them unless you showed me a vid of it.
Thank you for this video! My wife and I love scallops and were just wondering where they came from and how they were extracted. This video is a perfect education, and is a fine example of why the internet is so important. Thank you!
thank you, that is what this video is supposed to be about, a very slow and traceable explanation of where scallops come from, an educational video for friends and family not some sort of speed test video as some less intelligent fishermen might implicate on this page, your discernation of the true intent and appreciation of the video is extremely well recieved and makes putting up with these many ill-founded and arrogant malcontents worth while
we work like slaves but get paid like doctors... usually.. sometimes we make only $2,000 a trip (not worth it) when fuel is costly and price is low, but when fuel is cheap and price is high i've brought in $8,000 in a trip
Wow...you've probably gotten faster though, it just takes a bit of time.
This past summer I went on my fathers day-scalloper and could cut faster than some of the guys that had worked on the bug boats. ...They weren't all that happy knowing that they had lost to a 16 year old girl...
I like scallop I like lobster ...in brief I like all kinds of sea foods

The only way to be a Russian spy is to kill one? Ha ha, fishing banter. Interesting, I could never do a job like that!
Love to the fishermen!

They throw away the guts or whatever... It seems like it's good to eat too no?
LIke when you eat oysters and clams they have similar stuff inside.
Can't you put them in a stew or boil them and eat the whole thing?
InfoWarriorMaverick 2 years ago
the roe is edible and im told it is quite good, but the rest of the gut, not so much... unless you are a tuna or a seagull.
