It sounds like there is only one audio channel being recorded. The Genesis does have stereo.

the graphics are ok for 32 x. but you can cleary see here, that the 32 soundchip was almost the same as the mega drive.....crap.

But I still see they ripped a lot...

These graphics remind me of FX Race on SNES. Ah, SNES and 32X trying to take on the 32-bit consoles, how sweet. :D

Akira reminds me of Devilman in with his simplistic fighting style and pointy eyelashes. :)

Virtua Fighter Remix was always the best version of Virtua Fighter 1 in my opinion. This one is missing sound effects.

@spikeriley The game itself has sound effects and voices, I'm guessing it's an emulation issue of sorts. Tournament mode was great.
