How long on average does it take you to draw a portrait?

I'm an artist myself, but the one thing I couldn't do for my life were portraits, they are so hard 'cause you really need to know how to capture the essence of the person to make the drawing look like him/her which I could never do. So I really admire portrait artists :)

great job!, but my only criticism is that you drew mercury at a specific stage of his carrier were he didn't look like he did for most of his carrier so i guess i'm just saying you could have drawn him in the way he usually looked but don't get me wrong it 's a great drawing.
