International Reading Series with Ian McEwan - Part 1

His books made my life better. And I´ve only read Atonement, On Chesil Beach and Saturday, which I think is a bit overlooked. Ian Mcewan is a genius! i´ll always read him! One of my favourite authors!

I've only read Enduring Love but I thought it was brilliant so I'll definitely be reading his other stuff.

i prefer on chesil beach to amsterdam,, i just read them both this week, i prefer atonement to on chesil beach though

'Amsterdam' was somewhat flawed in its last three chapters, I felt.

I wasn't overly fond of 'Atonement', 'First Love, Last Rites', or 'A Child in Time' either.

I thought 'On Chesil Beach' was too short and lacked story. (There seemed to be more backstory than story.)

My favourite novels by Ian McEwan are:

- The Cement Garden

- Black Dogs

- Enduring Love.

I'd recommend any of those three, certainly.

So far I've read "The cement garden" and "Enduring love" and I've enjoyed them. The next week I'll receive "Black dogs" and I'm eager to read it.
