The issue of hiring women is these jobs was a bit of a joke. The ones who ACTUALLY did have employment as "so called" Police, were restricted to mundane and deeming jobs and were still required to cover themselves in that "Black Garb- Charori" while on the job. This video raises a few issues. The first and foremost is the female Police officers. The majority are sent home and their supervisors collect and KEEP their pay packets. If women could "get rid" of that shit on their heads for a start, then they can stop being viewed a victims and actually be seen as "human beings". Without that, it is all for naught. The issue of hiring women is these jobs was a bit of a joke. The ones who ACTUALLY did have employment as "so called" Police, were restricted to mundane and deeming jobs and were still required to cover themselves in that "Black Garb- Charori" while on the job. So, no one actually took them seriously anyway. The "rest" (and by rest, I mean majority)were simply "sent" home and threatened with Physical violence if they did not comply. The wages were not passed on, but kept .

I agree it doesn't change the fact that the US has one of the highest rape rates in the world, again that can have multiple reasons like women in the US are more likely to report a rape then in a muslim country perhaps or like I said the US considers more things to be rape then those muslim countries do.

It seems like geography and theocracy are huge factors. The more completely men have control (guns) of society, the more invisibility demanded of women who are forced into sexual and domestic servitude.
If the US would start giving aid securely to the women in Afghan tribes perhaps this destructive "war machismo" could be re-feminized. The more men use guns the worse off it always is for women. They/we should have insisted on at least 50/50 for their government too.
