  • @MaloukCOB The still images used to create this video were actually recorded by a webcam. There is a link to view live footage in the video's description.

  • @TomBrooklyn that's just in the harbor. avg tide is 43 feet in the bay! up to 55 at peak tides

  • @TomBrooklyn @potatothorn is right, the swing in the bay itself is much larger. At the start and end of this video you can see that the water in the harbour stops moving at low tide. It actually stays that way for much longer than you can see in the video, but we took that out because it's not that interesting to look at. During that time the water in the bay does keep moving down. We now also have an HD version of this same location during spring tide (so there's a much larger swing)!

  • @coleisaphosphate The song is called "Time Lapse". It comes with Apple's iMovie software.
