  • Now if U could make it fly we would be in business

  • @Barnabas45 Working on that, can't get the superconducters and the antigrav plates to fit inside yet.

  • This is very nice with attention to detail. I am still waiting for someone out there to construct a larger replica model used on the series as opposed to these downsized versions. The original Jupiter 2model used on the series was 4 feet in diameter. I have seen a few photos & YouTube videos of the original J2.

  • Would be an expensive kit no doubt. I think Jim Key at Custom Replicas makes a 4 footer, not sure on that, Google it if your interested, he does great work.

  • Thanks for the tip. Through Custom Replicas I found a DVD containing photos & a construction guide how the 48 inch model was made. No one seems to have a model that size.

  • Jeez, where would you put it?? Maybe in a Game room or something like that, or in a Lobby in a case.

For now it seems the 18 inch Moebius is the way to go. I haven't been impressed with some 24 inch versions.

  • How much does something like this run?

  • I don't quote prices on public sites, will pm you OK Othur?

  • Man you really work magic with my favorite childhood spaceship! Thanks for sharing big guy! One day I will be able to afford on as good looking and as well detailed as this one my friend. Peace.

  • Thanks again Othur! Didn't we all want to be Will Robinson on the J2, as kids? Gosh, I sure did! Oddly enough, I got an order for one of these babies just this morning, real happy about that! In these times, I don't get as many orders as I used to, thank God some folks still find hand-made work is worth the price!!

Lost, but not Spaced, take care! :)

  • Simply awsome work, The Best !!!!!

You truly have the coolest job on earth.

    Kit Factory is #1

  • Thanks Dude! Beats working at a 7-11, on the late shift, I'll give you that! Much appreciated At, as always!
