Actually Gmod 11 doesnt need all those games mrGlitch2000. Gmod11 is just the update when you buy Half Life 2: Episode 2. The others just support it a bit more

Buy a game that uses sourse engine and then buy gmod via steam.

Buy the Orange Box, Counter Strike : Source and Day of Defeat : Source plus Half-Life : Source buy the regular Gmod and then you will get a Gmod update then the game will upgrade to Gmodbeta2007 (Gmod11)

I AM playing Gmod 10 it's just i have gmod beta 2007 and the interface is waaaay different.

It isnt pirated.

This is before the huge update garry put out that allowed you to use tf2 and portal stuff on gmod.

He set up an svn and let people download and test it before it came out.

i dono what youre talking about with those updates in that comment below but, this is garrysmod 9... GMod 10 has a different interface window.. That was the interface window used for GMod 9... And GMod 10 never needed the games to run, and I dont need the games for ragdolls either, I just have CS:S and I still have all the stuff.. GMod 10 is now standalone game.

This is Gmod 10: 2007 source engine. It has a new interface. If you've updated your Gmod you would see it has a new interface.

Its true you dont need HL2 to run it, you can do it with with CS:S which contains the hl2 source engine stuff, but you won't have the hl2 story mode maps.

gmod 10 is not standalone, you need one hl2 source game in order to run it.

Many people do thats the problem there has been a update so you can now play garry's mod 10 without half life 2 but you still need the games for the ragdolls and levels.
