My cat does this, but it's only him, he doesn't have the luxury of another kitty sitting at the top pushing down the tab, he just stands on his hind legs and gets it himself.

That is too funny! My younger cat was starting to knock over the water jug to hear the glug glug, so I bought one of those water fountains for pets that recycles the water in a constant stream, and both my cats just love it. Sometimes they just sit and stare at it. I'm not even sure if they touch the jug waterers anymore.

Both of my cats come running from wherever they are to watch the "glug glug" of the bubbles. I am afraid this will happen for us, only they won't stop and the cup runneth over....much like yours did. :)

Actually cats figure a lot of things out on their own. They have the brain mass of a toddler but as they age, their brains operate to remember and analyze how things work. They have a basic understanding of problem solving. it comes from the instinct of if they want to live, they strive to figure out the means to be independent. Two cats together...and im pretty sure they'll scheme.

Cool, looks like Crystal Springs! I'm a delivery man for that company. I had a customer with a dog that would do that and drink from it. In case you didn't know, get your salesperson to install childproof dispensers, they won't be able to figure them out.
