Federer is better than Woods, imo..

Federer has 16 majors, Woods 14.

Federer has won those 16 slams in just 8 years, whereas Woods amassed his titles over the course of 12 years..

Woods has, however, won more titles than Federer..but its arguable that in Golf its easier to win multiple tournaments .since its a less physically demanding sport (than tennis)..

Its Federer's CONSISTENCY that continues to amaze me..last 23 consecutive grand slam semis..18 of the last 19 grand slams finals!

americans think that just because woods is the only american dominant player in an international sport other nations are excited about him as they are, so they are comparing him, how great he is, to players that are dominant in really popular sports like tennis and footbal (not american), in reality i guess 90% of europeans for instance care about him as much as they care about a u-9 karting champion cause very few watch golf outside of usa. so of course federer is much greater athlete

I'm a huge Federer fan, but it's hard for me to believe that they are "friends". Both are under contract with nike... You know what I mean..? This friendship smells money. Just my opinion.

Yea I agree with you. I too am a huge Federer fan, and to me, I feel like there was too much in common with both men to not have some sort of relationship. I'm sure it's somewhat interpersonal, I mean, they do support each other and all that jazz. But you never know... Both men are so dominant, but to me, Roger has clearly been more impressive in his sport than Tiger. Don't get me wrong, Tiger is dominant, but Federer had been utterly dominant. Also, Roger would never lose 4 in one year.

Wow, its weird how they both are like at the same places in their career: they both have about the same number of majors, they are both one of the top ranked players in their sports, they are not too far off age-wise, they are reaching the climaxes of their careers, they are both breaking their sports' records, and so much more. They both are just so supremely dominant in their skills.

lol, wth? roger's wimbledon favorite even without nadal, and it's nadal's fault he wasn't in RG final :)) and yes, there's too much stress on roger's supposed impending doom.

nevertheless, it's a well-done video. i thought at first it'd just be usual reporting, so i was surprised to see some effort actually put into it, like choosing background music and a few memorable lines.

The idea of the vid was nice, but the way they emphasise Roger not being world No 1 anymore is strained and ridiculous...check his rankings in two weeks time...

And the topic of tennis being physically demanding rather belongs to a Nadal video IMO.

That being said: i love this friendship bewteen Tiger and Rog - they are both class acts :D

You can't if you have frequent injuries, which Federer never has. The only time he's been slowed down on his run is when he had mono last year. People talk about short career spans too much in tennis without bringing up the injury factor.
