heres the reason why this fucking awesome movie failed, this came out around easter time-ish now because of the ocasion family friendly movies where out, some of them really good (Meet The Robinsons....i think could be wrong, whatever) others super bad, it basically came down to families asking "Do i take my offspring to see a soft porn packed with gore, or do i take them to go see (INSERT FAMILY MOVIE HERE)?" Robert Rodriguez made Machete, Rob Zombie made Werewolf Women of the S.S., Eli Roth made Thanksgiving, and Edgar Wright made Don't. Like I said these were fake, but Machete was so popular Robert Rodriguez decided to make a real movie of it and he did.

Grindhouse, this still will provide endless horror drama for late, late, night television. After all, who wouldn't want to watch the smuggler's holding drop and be bouncing testicles? I understand there is some allegory, but this is also a look at the drive-in movie theatres that would sponsor the famous weird Ed Wood and his cardboard tombstones falling over with flying saucers on fish wire; the drive-in movies were to have sex as you owned the car, and the movies showed anything in results.

They are deliberately over the top and not meant to be oscar-winning material. And who are you to say this was not a movie?
