  • @XXYforLIFEagain The only one who`s deluded is YOU. People with bipolar personality are some of the most sensitive, intelligent and creative people. The way they behave is due to increased brain activity. And emotional intensity is a sign of increased intellignce. Bipolat is not an illness, is not something to be ashamed off. Its a unique, distinctive personality. People like this are more alive then the average. For bipolar people world is more courful.

  • People are beautiful the way they are

  • True. No one should have the right to put labels on people. There is no such thing as personality "disorders". People have different, unique personallities, thats what makes our world so wonderful and diverse. No one should mess with that and try to change people

  • You are so very very right. Many people get a destroyed life because of lack of human rights. Why cant we be accepted for who we are instead of being judged and labeled? That would make this world a better place to be.....

  • When your in the care of most phychiatrists you are under the control of a persons ego. Mainstream medicine is designed to label people and put them down. I know for a fact that all of these so called labels like basic depression can be cured by helping the individual get stronger and value themselves. Most of the time these people like myself are and were very very mistreated growing up and are very decent people. I have great admiration for people like jodie.

  • you sound normal to me.. what was the reasn 4 the pills?

  • brill vid....thanks

  • I think the best point you make is that nobody LISTENS! What IS weird is that when I see doctors THEY almost always look more disconnected with so-called reality than "us"...I used the phrase to one"in a perfect world"..he responded"ISN'T IT!"???

  • I WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU!!! You are so real about your experiences.. many of which I too have experienced. God Bless You!

  • i understand you!

  • your comments about people telling you if you're bipolar you can't be sad or happy.. obviously they are incompetent, feeling sad is being human, speaking from personal experience after many many months I felt sad for a legitimate reason.. from this sadness I felt alive. this is quite different from the permanent feeling of sadness depressed people feel. exploring the human mind is extremely complicated, a lot of these mental health professional don't care to look across the street

  • Labels are important, to help in treating various 'disorders' people need to group 'symptoms' together to be able to provide proper therapy for afflicted individuals looking for relief.... these labels do not define them they define a set of symptoms multiple people share... a set of attributes describe an object.. that is why we have names for everything.

  • yes,i agree with your vibe....but actually if we really need to continue labelling things...then why dont we rent more room and get more boxes and invent more labels for the people because what this vid says and rightly so!that doctors label us wrong too much!

  • And the consequences we face when carrying these labels can be disastrous.

  • an excellent video - just goes to show how money takes precedence over mental health

  • Jodie you rock.

  • Yep. The entire nation is pathologized at this point. I've been diagnosed EVERYTHING. Then, one day, I realized I was simply human. I no longer take meds. Nor do I have any trust for doctors or mental health institutions.

  • Psychiatry is full of assumptions. It sucks. I know.

  • It amazes me that she is simply speaking her truth. She has no "cause" to defend. She is not an advocate with any agenda. She just knows what she knows, and if asked, she tells it like it is. Even if a camera is running. It makes no difference. She's also the best friend I have ever had. Another video will be coming, too. Possibly two more.

  • You are a voice of experience- You explained it so well. Thank you so much:):) If someone wants to know the truth. Here it is. Awesome video Jayme!
