FYI this WIld Card clincher was against the Cubs and in that weekend series the Cubs still took 2 out of 3 games. And then The WHite Sox sweep the Astros a month later. So obviously Chicago just kicked the crap out of Houston in clutch games. And FYI these idiots saying White Sox cheated----lol whatever. Other than the Jermaine Dye situation Houston got the calls all series long and still got swept by maybe the greatest MLB team ever.

The White Sox were an outstanding team that year, and it annoys me that some fans of the Astros can't deal with the fact that they were a good team. It's not luck that Houston's bullpen didn't show up for the World Series. Chicago was CLUTCH in situations and Houston was not; therefore, the White Sox outplayed the Astros. You saying there is luck invovled with it IS an excuse and it is completely rediculous. Personally, I have nothing against Houston's organization, but some of their fans need to realize that the Astros simply came up short.

@CHWSOX87 Congratulations White Sox fan. I wish I knew what it felt like to win a World Series. The umpire did award Jermaine Dye a hit batsman when the ball clearly hit his bat, and the MLB did not allow the Minute Maid Park roof to be closed, which would have been loud as hell for an opponent, but those reasons are not why we lost. The White Sox were the superior team. Again, congrats.

Astros couldn't get clutch hits when they needed to, the White Sox did. Astros had many good chances to score alot of runs, but there weakness all season long was the poor hitting with runners in scoring position in late innings.
