zpolukuchka is right. The Erator GT has rather the typial Le Mans Design of the late 60s as does the Ford GT40LM. Though i think they look a bit different. The Erator is lower than the GT40, has a more rounded chassis and gull-wing doors which are typical for most Isdera cars. Nevertheless maybe Isdera was really inspired by the Ford GT or other LM cars... who knows. But in technic terms they are really not the same. The Isdera has more hp, more mph and a better acceleration. It's no replica;)

and the isdera is a not almsot a total copy of the GT ?? The GT40 was and still is one of the most beautiful cars ever created. That's why 40 years later, when Ford re-incarnated the body style in the Ford GT, it looked conteporary.

You're right! I apologize; and they do have similiarities.
The Ford GT40 IV is the best looking and seems to be better build than some of the others, some of the "kit" models look kinda sloppy.
