I was born in 83 so I don't have too many memories of the 80s. Jessica was rescued when I was only 4. I grew up in the 90s. Ive got lots of great memories from the 90s. One of the things I cherish the most from the 90s were Saturday Mornings. They're just not the same anymore now all they show now is garbage!
YES! Saturday Morning Cartoons were the best then, I like the CBS line up with Muppet Babies, Teen Wolf ummm oh! Hey Vern It's Ernest! Other stuff I liked was Alvin and the Chipmunks, Disney's Gummi Bears, The Wuzzles, Smurfs, Loony Toons, Mr. Wizard (syndictated), oh god what else? The Jetsons, Flintstones, Fraggle Rock, Punky Brewster (cartoon and life action)Woody Woodpecker, Shirt Tails and a bunch of other stuff
Aaahhh... The 80's - Gremlins, Ghostbusters, ALF, Muppet Babies, MTV (When it actually played music videos), Great Space Coaster, Nickelodeon's You Can't Do that on Television, Crispy Critters Cereal, oversized Big Stuff Oreos, Daisy Dukes, Smurfs, Alvin and the Chipmunks - I could mention hundreds more!
Yes, the 80's was my age of innocents, and I wish I could relive the 80's again. *Sighs*
Labrynth............aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......scratching my eyes out....my husband told you to put that on, right?? LOL..he loves that movie and it happens to be my *almost* least favorite (Dune would have that honor). When we're lost on what video to rent, he'll suggest that one just to annoy me. Loved the rest of the video though!! ;)
haha I LOVE Labyrinth, infact I watched after I made this video, then Goonies! lol What can I say, I'm an 80's Kid! lol Oh and my mom feels the way you do about Farris Bueller's Day Off
LOL...tiny piece of trivia for ya...Goonies was made in the town right next to ours. It's a tiny little town called Petaluma in Northern California. Peggy Sue Got Married & American Graffiti were also filmed there. (It's sadly also the town that Polly Klaas was abducted & murdered in.)
I want to say that it was fall (October maybe?) of 1993. We were 2 blocks away at my nieces house when it happened. My sister was a family friend. It changed our community for many years, if not forever.
