they cut out the counterpoint area of this song. We are about to do this musical for the our towns annual summer musical and there is an awesome counterpoint part where the choir is singing one thing, the reverand and his family are singing another song, and the McCormacks are singing their own song. Its difficult to do but it sounds awesome.

My only real problem with this musical is how the four dancing girls are the only ones in the ensemble who are actually given choreography. The choreography that they are given would be considered basic for anyone getting into my school's musical.

Well that technically is the Rogers and Hammersteins Co. London Rewrite version. In the Original Broadway cast Ren and some other boys sing the first part. Honestly I prefer the rewrite. But you know... whatever...

Your Shaw is good...but Ren deffinitly sucks. Our Ren totally kicks ass. And the vocals overall aren't exactly impressive. I can't hear any harmony like..at all in Footloose. The set and costumes don't make a musical, the singing and the acting does. That should be the primary focus.

my school is doin this right now,i must admit that your female leads(rusty & ariel)are phenominal!but all of the guy leads "(excluding shaw ur awesome!)are a big disappointment.If u dnt have any tenors pick a new show!this is a tenor based show!It sux 4 ur girls that they have to share the stage w/ guys who arent up up to their par. The girls shouldnt have to sing the tenor part!Thats sad!Its pretty disappointing.....i will probabaly put our show vids when we do it.We will show u how its done...
