I pretty much feel the same way about this movie. The flying "ball" (or whatever it's called) and the Tall Man (played by Angus Scrimm) are the only two memorable "cult" elements of this movie. otherwise, it's nothing too special.
Finally, I'm not the only one. The clown episode where that kid steals a clown nose and the clown haunts his butt until he got it back.....that still gives me the shivers.

Phantasm is one of my all time Non-zombie flicks. I'm a zombie nerd...*sighs*
but as a nerd I HATED the D&D movie. it was fail

I saw Phantasm 3, i think...years ago at some ungodly hour of night on some crapp channel. I have to say I laughed like crazy at some points,
I remember a chainsaw fight that ended with some bloke getting chained in the nuts, classic!

I love this movie. The scene with the metallic ball boring it's way into that guy's head was EPIC.
