The boost effect looks allot better on the Wii version. The PS3 one just reminds me of Sonic Rush... unoriginal to say the least.

the ps360-levels are up to 20 minutes

i first also thought wii is better just because i was jealous if i think back now.

but sonic runs also much!!! faster in the next gen versions so the levels get shorter than they would be in the wii version^^

You know your boosts can be abused, but you don't abuse them correctly. There are many corners you can turn while using your boost, just drift along them. Also, if a spot is risky, such as the one at 0:33, but there is a dash panel, don't be afraid to use the boost, the dash panel will guide you. Also, ignore the enemies at 0:43, and just use a hard stomp followed by a boost; its much quicker. Doing such things can easily shave your time by a lot.

I hate this game. I hate this game. I hate this game. And i bloody well hate the peice of crap ship. He and his "ice cream" can go straight to hell. I and I can't believe you got and S rank. How that's for unfair. I actually played this over and over and i still can't bloody well get that good. GOD I hate this game. It just insults me

but still the 360/PS3 version is way cooler. i've played both and i enjoy the 360/PS3 version more since there is "like datfambam said" more action and plus more grinding gameplay and it's longer and the werehog levels are way better to, he controls better, he has more combos and it's balanced with the day stages.

And 1 of the most things i hate about the Wii/PS2 version is the hub-worlds at least you can walk around the hub-world on the 360/PS3 version.

wii/ps2 version is kk but graphics arent cool and they are missing...stuff and the controls with wii mote feel awful espicially the werehog id rather play 360/ps3 but meh ur playthrough nice job

PinkKittyRose, exactly what do you have against 360/PS3 versions of SU? I have the Wii version, but the 360/PS3 has longer levels, more action in levels, and it has two more levels than the Wii/PS2 version

Please tell me why you don't like the 360/PS3 one. Personally, I love it since it has loads more speed stages, and I like the boost feature, and levels more. Also, the Werehog in the Wii/PS2 version isn't that fun to me. XD I'd give anyone a medal if they could find all the hidden items in this game, w/o a strategy guide! XD

Can I have that medal? I do not own a guide for the game so I had to spend quite awhile finding all the items. I really wish the item room would tell you WHICH stage and not just say "Night Stage", "Day Stage", or "Special Stage".

I could go into specifics about why I dislike the 360/PS3 version, but I will just list a couple:

-Day stages are more linear and auto-pilot

-Night stages are a pain due to having to find the sun and moon medals to unlock stages

-Bosses have too much HP and are boring

The night stages are pretty much the Wii stages put together and some minor differences. So they can take about 15-20 minutes to complete. I rather have the break in the Wii version. -_-

I don't know about the 360 version, but it's not worth collecting all items in the Wii version. You just get a 40 second clip with Sonic and Chip.

Well, collecting the items also gets you two more stages in the Wii/PS2 version (50% gets a Shamar stage, 100% an Adabat stage) so it is not too too bad.

In the 360/PS3 version you collect medals strewn all over the stages and even boss arenas, and it's mandatory to collect a certain amount of them.

I understand the whole Sun/Moon medal thing. It is a terrible concept! However I think the day stages in the 360/PS3 version are better, because there's more things to do. The Wii/PS2 versions have a lot of straight paths with nothing on them, and I like the more "crowded" levels in the 360/PS3 ver. I barely had to look for the medals at night, as I just found them while playing.

I like the Werehog in that version because he has more combos/moves.

@GOLDsonic105 I'm getting a little tired of how we have to explain ourselves for liking the NINTENDO WII version more than the others. XDD To me it just seems like Sonic started out as Sega and will always be sega but it feels like for Sonic to move from the sega-consoles onto the Nintendo consoles just seemed like a natural thing - most of us who owned the Sega consoles years ago, all had a Nintendo 64 along-side it + im a nintendo fanboy! so of course im biased.

Im pretty sure Sega will learn the Werehog wasnt a nice addition to the game and given the fact that the day stages turned out great they might develop a new Sonic game entirely of "Sonic the Hedgehog" stages heh, I hope it comes true(and at least a year after Sonic and the Black Knight is released of course)

There are very few Wii version videos of this game so I'm glad you're uploading your playthrough. You seem really good by looking at this video.

S-ranking some of these stages can be difficult. I'm embarassed to say this was one of the stages.

He is still plenty fast, it is just that the stages are more massive overall now. Besides... Sonic is very hard to steer in this so that regular running speed is needed to get around the harder areas.

Sure, the Werehog was neat...up until Chun-nan...then I wished the whole game was just day stages. :\
