I tried this on one of those Internet booths running XP.

By the way, if your computer doesn't have an F8 button - the booth didn't - then unplug the booth, plug it back in and let it boot. While the Windows XP logo is on screen, pull out the plug. Wait five seconds and plug the booth back in. This time choose Safe Mode and RESULT!

you do not need to do so much work to get to the administrator account, just type ctrl+alt+delete on welcome screen type in Administrator in the box asking for username, hit enter, and you are inside the system, unless your admin account is locked, as on my machine
