i have to say, as an addict in recovery and someone whose life has been devastated by losing people to OD'ing, i find her responses absolutely appropriate....she absolutely appreciated him, but the healthiest thing she has done is shed any guilt that is undue to her....it WAS all his responsibility...we are all humans, and choice is ALWAYS ours...the baby is amazing, but i do disagree a lil with you
I think the saddest thing about this part is the comment "In the overall scheme of rock history, we are the footnote." Blind Melon is WAY more than a footnote in rock history...I hope they truly realize the contribution they made.

A few tracks off Soup were dark in tone but still non aggressive, its almost as if Shannon wrote about how he wanted to be rather than how he was, he'd sing Change and then go out on a drug binge and walk the streets naked, a true character but maybe too much of a character

On the proper environment, 1 drug will open the door 2 a harder 1 and so on... til 1 reaches the bottom. No one entered the world of drugs directly on heroin.
@Ronman1978 eh id have to say kurt cobain was more the tupac of rock though i love blind melon 1000000000 times more than nirvana hoon kicked the bucket before they got the credit they deserved and it pisses me off they were such an extremely underrated band everyone in that band is fucking awesome and its some tripped out shit that theyve never been able to climb back being as talented musicians that they are in a way shannon kind of fucked them up because hes irreplacable wish he stuck around

thanks for posting.....id love to see more......not sure why people show such negativity....if you cant appreciate it, move on.....and dont watch it......shannon and his beautiful music have been with me through many hard times over the past 15 yrs......his lyrics are some of the most honest words ever written.....and i can totally appreciate him as the true artist he was. he still lives on through his songs!!
