  • how much for the setup?

  • so you basically just soldered the Dragon link's 3 wires to a jack that the battery is also connected to ?? and this just plugs right into the dx6 trainer port and thats it? no soldering inside the radio?

  • @orandaboy yup thats it because spektrum is so hard on warranty when you open your radio

  • @Iosxphone ohh ok lol yehh i know but one more question. if u accidentally switch the dx6 power switch on like u did to put it in failsafe that would completely terminate all control of the plane right and make it head home?

  • @orandaboy yah but the dx8 wont

  • @Iosxphone do u use a 3s lipo or 2s for ur dragonlink

  • What do I need to do to hook my dx6i to dragonlink?

  • NVM you have the DX6

  • hey how did you wire the Dragon to your DX5e Spektrum, im having issues with that?

  • Do you use EZcap?

  • @RcPlanesAreAwsome yeah but im upgrading to fatsharks

  • @Iosxphone You use EZcap or EasyCap i don't see the difference

  • @RcPlanesAreAwsome I think one is just short form like "eeee zeee" cap

  • What is the voltage input for the Dargonlink Transmitter?

  • Comment removed

  • can you please help me with setting up my fpv

  • how did you conect DL to Dx6?

  • thanks for asking i have had no bad experiences with the equipment but a full battery is key so i recommend a battery indicator on the outside and if anyone has a direct connection to the dragonlink manufactures i think it would be a great idea to add a low voltage buzzer.

P.S. the range is as said to work flawlessly at 25km but i have not found enough space to test that but it was still working great at 15km if that helps.

  • @Iosxphone hi i have question for you how much range is ur tx and rx of ur camera?? and ur DX6i what is th range

  • @zandamandag hi the range of the video depends on the antenna with a 1watt tx and 12dbi rx i can get at least 15km as far as the dx6i goes my video tx over powers it so thats why i use the dragonlink and the range on that is 20-30km give or take a bit.

  • @Iosxphone do you have a facebook can we chat their?

  • Hi,

I want to get into FPV. I just dont know where to start though.I think you may know more than I do since you all ready have all the equipment. could you help me out? all I have on hand right now is a Spektrum DX6. hows your range on the DL? I hope you could share with us any bad experiences with it..

    thanks

  • I see that you are using a DX6I and are you using the menu screen and if so how do select a menu without having a three position switch.

  • @Shawnee845 i have two rx in the airplane the dl and the dsm2 if i switch the power on the tx it goes from flight to setup mode.

  • what do you think to the dragonlink, im thinking off getting one myself. how far have you had it and have you had any glitching?

  • Hi!

What is frequency of your dragon link rc radio module. Is it 2.4 ghz? Do you have interference problem with your 1.2 ghz video (1watt) and your dragonlink sytem ?

  • @Landat78 It runs on 433 mhz so no problem all you need is a ferrite core

  • Respond to this video... It also can work with 2.4ghz the DL is just for range

  • @Iosxphone

Hi. Thanx your advice. So I can use 1.2 mhz with 2.4 RC on short range with ferrite core. Where should I put ferrite core? To the wire between battery and video tx? Or I also must use ferrite on RC rx wires? E.g the esc wiregoes to RC rx receiver?

  • @Landat78 yes you can

place two ferrites one between the vtx and flight pack and one the -+s from the esc

  • How did you hook up to the PPM on the DX6I

  • @Shawnee845 the ppm comes from the trainer port on the dx6i
