  • Je n'aime pas, j'adore ce film. Hallucinant.

  • The actor actually ran but naked in that severe cold weather..i think he did a very good job.

  • Fuck, i tried to click on another video on the right when the naked man came out because my little cousin was next to me but, instead I accidently made the video bigger -.-

  • sure is cold xD

  • what the heck is going on.

  • 1:24 lol

  • @idkwhatyours What "lol"?! Have you seen the movie? Do you know what it is about? Do you know who you are, where you come from, why you even exist on planet Earth? Do you know what you've got the two eyes and your brains for? You ignorant.

  • LMFAO 2:17-2:40. LAUGHED MY ASS OFF.

  • @kightxt1 IDEM (but I bet you don't know what this word means). You and the other one above? Two ignorants.

  • I remember there being a love scene in this movie. My first example of NDNs making love. My mom told me close my eyes quickly.

I love the ending to this movie. It's awesome.

  • what the fukk did i just watch

  • start is a bitch to remember all the characters names and the plot, had to have wikipedia at the ready myself....but its damn good movie once ya get the plot straight in your head.....landscape is amazing too

  • I didn't know there were some streakers in artic regions...

  • Why is "The Fast Runner" nude towards the end? Had he gone mad?

  • @mjay22

Actually he is the only sane man in the story. You will have to see the movie for that answer - and on a big screen would be ideal. I loved this film.

  • @mjay22 it would spoil the movie if I would answer that. (It's not at the end of the movie). He´s running nude not because he's mad

  • good movie

  • The Inuit Of Canada come from the Inuit in Northern Russia, Siberia over a thousand years ago. The Inuit had killed off the original ppl of the canadian arctic who had inhabited this region for thousands of years. Yea the movie is weird lol

  • @Okpakok What are you talking about? The Inuit are the original people of the north, which I am one of them. The Inuit dont live in Inuit, they live in all of northern Canada and Alaska.

  • @Carmenakulukjuk I think he was referring to the Paleo-Eskimos, or "Tuniit" as they're called in Inukituk.

  • @Carmenakulukjuk

No the Original Inhabitants of Canada's North were the Dorset People. The Dorset People were killed off around 1000AD by people from Asia who became to be known as Inuit. We are not supposed to talk about this in Canada because the Inuit make claims to be the Original Inhabitants which they were not.

  • @melvin2980 Well said. Not enough people appreciate that the Inuit arrived in Greenland after the Vikings. But the Inuit did not migrate from Asia; they had been settled in Alaska for some time when they left for eastern Canada around 1200CE.

  • Lol at 1:24 this was weird.

  • they look chinese

  • @arnold4life476 Their ancestors were Siberians .That's why they look like people from North and sometimes East Asia .

  • Well, I'm not sure what I expected when I clicked on this link to watch this trailer, but I know I wasn't expecting full frontal of a naked innuit male running through the snow.

  • I love authentic movies and this movie is true and authentic, it is pleasure to watch it from beginning till the end. It is same as with ''Black robe'', you can watch it 1000 times.

  • Sadly, Black Robe is not authentic in the least. My film teacher talked about how it was received well at first, but over time has come to be looked at as extremely condescending.

  • @emilaweasel Maybe you have more right to say that Black robe is not authentic, i do not know what side of movie you considered. But, i have never watched any movie that depict the time of Samuel Champlain so true. Only what is not authentic in this movie are some actors which played Iroquois, it is visible that they are whites, and slaying of algonquin child wasn't custom of Mohawks which usually adopted children from other tribes. Sorry, i am from Serbia,am historian but not movie maker;-)

  • Theres another movie played by the man who chases Atanarjuat...

    Before Tommorrow is the title.

You can see how The Inuit had problems finding food and trouble hunting and even sheltering them selves.

  • I had to watch this for an anthropology film class, but I really enjoyed it a lot.

  • weird trailer :p

  • Plus, please keep in mind that it was all made by Inuits (director, actors, environment), therefore it's as accurate as you will ever get it. Some even acted for the first time in a movie, and I think that makes it even more amazing!! Love it all :-)

  • We studied this film in our Film class for my Canadian Studies MA. It is simply amazing. Tension along the way, since the very beginning til the last second of it. Plus, the angles and the shots were breathtaking. It's art, people. Not a simple movie!! )

  • Qujanarsuaq (many thanks) as we say in Greenland:-) Thank you for sharing this video. The culture of the inuit in Nunavut was soooo much like the culture of inuit in Eastern Greenland. I can actually understand a lot of the dialouge and I have been living in Eastern Greenland. Just amazing:-)

  • nice movie ...when there were still balance human/nature !!!

( judging by the most commentetors here ... we are doomed for sure )

  • movie is trippy? any idea what the movie really stands for?

  • The usual. Boy meets girl. Marries girl. Boy meets another girl. Marries another girl. 2nd wife is lazy and the 1st wife tells her so, and 2nd wife fools around with husband's brother. The 2nd wife knows she is in trouble- so she tells her brothers that she is being mistreated. So the brothers of 2nd wife attack the husband and brother of 2nd wife and kill the brother. That is when the man starts running for his life across the ice.

  • Eventually he gets away from his pursuers and has his revenge on the 2nd wife and her brothers. 1st wife gets respect and new clothes while 2nd wife and her brothers are kicked out of the village.

  • It is the faults in people's character- specifically in the 2nd wife- laziness, sexual promiscuity, and deciet- which cause the whole incident. Although this movie is set in the arctic thousands of years ago- you probably know someone like the 2nd wife- my brother's first wife was like this (that fat selfish lazy cow)- so the story is still relevant in this modern age.

  • It is a film version of an ancient Inuit legend. There is love, friendship, brotherhood, betrayal, conspiracy, murder, escape, ghosts...

All the things that make a story great.

  • nice dong! this movie is trippy

  • Censerd For Girls Alarm: AEE AEE AEE AEE BLEEEeeeeee_________________

  • From this footage as well as historical records of russian and canadian sources Inuit society seem to be quite violent and harsh.

  • Exactly like Texas...

  • Wow, look the corporate governments sent a little spokesperson to write on the YouTube device. Seriously, you need to read BETWEEN the lines. You should know that the Inuit culture has been represented inaccurately by those documents and perspectives of the people have changed since then. They are a people of the oral tradition and would not have documentations other than those by foreign observation.

  • i bet yours is smaller

  • LMFAO.

  • known to you maybe?. I bet you are fond of licking and comparing all kind of cocks, enjoy!!!

  • The reason he's running over that ice is because he married a girl who was supose to married the son of the chief. The guy who chases him.

  • did he just run on the water?

  • ommmm girls dont watch this lol

  • i said fast runner not nakeD!!!!!!!!!!

  • there is full frontal nudity in this video!! .... wut?!!

  • haha, saw this movie when I was in Greenland. Its not supposed to be, but it is funny as hell

  • man he gotta shave them pubes

  • if he shaves hem, his balls will freeze and no children, unless you want to keep him warm :D

  • wtf

  • Why is the man running on the ice naked? Is he an outlaw? Did he hurt that woman who was screaming? Is that her family pursuing him wanting revenge?

  • I believe he was messing around with a woman in a tent...

Someone found out about it and was ticked off, I guess. I watched this in Media Studies a few years ago but didn't get much out of it. I'm not a fan of the movie, to say the least.

  • butt naked man runnin in tha snow...

  • lol, he was naked.

  • ...Good observation... I hope that's not all you took from this.

  • i have no idea now i came across this vid, but it looked interesting so i clicked on it... turns out ive actually seen this moive haha, it was pretty ummm... idk how to describe it... it was pretty intense, but not a normal type on intense... you just find yourself inveloped (sp?) in the movie and next thing ya know its been an hour and a half!

  • My all time favorite movie. Also, I have had the pleasure and honor to spend some time up near Igloolik. The Inuk, in my opinion, are the most wonderful people on this planet. The rest of Canada could stand to learn so much from the people of the land. Just don't let the kids know if you have candy!

  • love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
