320mW can't burn wood that easily. I had a ~300mW pulsed 650nm and it didn't burn that good. I could say thats a 3200mW

Skin is crap at absorbing infrared. I'm sure it will sting and burn skin but it wont absorb very far

Was für eine Diode habt ihr denn da verbaut? Normal bringen die doch nen Balken und haben selten TEMoo. Oder geht das über die Optik?

Cameras are able to see infrared lights and that is why the dot appearn on the piece of wood. IR is not visible to the naked eye, that's why they are used in nightvision goggles.

AND with certai cameras if you video tape your remot (when pressing buttons) orother things that control something with the push of a button, and ou don't see any light. It's probably IR light (you also don't feal it because it isnt 3200mW)

The beam is not the dot... but if you can't see the beam it'll be hard to find the dot... so as you can see it's really dangerous since it's like 3w
