I met Groucho; I recognized him (not very many people do). He goes around asking people if they know who he is. He was surprised about me recognizing him without him asking. He was short and hilarious and told me funny things like "I just got back from my vacation to Ireland.", "you know what they call me on St. Patrick's day? Grouch, O'Marx." He also walked by me after a 1920's police officer told me that I'm wet :P, I was obviously wet after coming out of Curious George! I didn't see him. USH!
I would like to let everyone know that Universal Studios Hollywood is seriously considering getting rid of Groucho. Yeah that's right. What may help is if fans of Groucho go to Guest Relations and fill out a guest comments card letting management know how good a character he is, and how witty and fun he is. It only takes a couple of minutes, and maybe we can help him. Isn't it already a shame that they got rid of Harpo and Chico? Not to mention Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplain...
@AmazonFreak123 Yes, I saw him too on Friday November 11th. His last day will be on December 31st of this year. If you can prove me wrong, I would be very happy. Believe me I would.
Thank you for contacting Universal Studios Hollywood. We appreciate your interest in Universal Studios Hollywood, and I can assure you that there are no plans to adjust our character lineup at this time. Our characters, and the performers that portray them, are an important part of the unique experience created at Universal Studios Hollywood. We expect them to remain a part of the Universal family for the foreseeable future.
@AmazonFreak123 Dude, management lied to you. Go to the park and ask Groucho himself. He will tell you that December 31st is his last day. If you want the truth go to the source, not a bunch of lying bastards who will tell you what you want to hear. If i'm lying, i'm flying! I bought the guys who have been this humorous, witty intelligent guy farewell gifts, and they thanked me. R.I.P. to a great character.
@AmazonFreak123 What??? Dude, Groucho was my favorite character in the park!!! The question is "why did management get rid of him?" I went to guest relations and left guest comments that Groucho is the best of all. I bought all 3 guys who play Groucho farewell gifts. I used to talk with Groucho for long periods. He was always glad to have an intelligent, often funny, and witty conversation (not to mention some pranks we pulled together) :) It will not be the same without him.
Hey, it's me! Look, I'm in color (and in 3D, although that would be hard to prove). Thanks, Amy, for making the movie of lil' ol' adorable me. It's nice to have another picture that I'll never live down!

I concur with HalosRaven. I haven't even been to universal studios and I can already tell that this is would be my favorite groucho, as well.

Not sure if it's the same guy, but when I was there he strolled up next to me and calmly asked, "When did you get out of prison?> Cracked me up...

Nice work as the professor in Horse Feathers, but the opening title says: "Marks." Please correct to Marx. Thank you. Jay
