i can't say that this song saved my life, but i can say that it saved some one very dear to me. my friend was going through a very rough time so i learned this song and grabbed my acoustic guitar and played it for her and sang to her and tried to reassure her that everything will always get better. its not your time.

It scared me and really helped me put things into perspective. Good friends are so important

This is the power of music people. this song was always running through my mind when ever i was around her, and I helped save her from doing something that would have hurt her and everyone around her. This is the song i will remember for the rest of my life.

A classmate of mine committed suicide last night, and we just found out this morning. Its tragic to know that he thought there was no other way out. This song reminds me that things always, ALWAYS, get better eventually.
It's crazy to think about a year ago I tried to commit suicide, ended up in the E.R over some girl, this song seriously makes me think twice about any suicidal thoughts I will ever have, and honestly I can say it has saved my life.

Look up Eyeopener by Brisk and Trixxy (disclaimer: it's edm). Believe it or not 10 years ago, when my Bipolar depression was at it's peak, I decided to commit suicide. I ran a bath set the razor blade on the edge of the tub. I decided to say goodbye to music, cause that's all that meant anything to me ( I'm not a people person), so I pressed play on my stereo on random and eyeopener came on. I stopped in my tracks. I don't know why I felt compelled to share that here but such is life.
There's a girl I care about more than anything in this life. She has a lot of problems and thinks that everyone's left her. Yesterday she was talking about suicide. I just wish that she and everyone else in the world who's ever thought of suicide could hear this song... Just once. God, this is amazing.

BUT, what you forget is that most people that have suicidal tendencies and problems to see the end of the tunnel will have a better life, a in some time. And for those times, they should not give a fuck, bother living and go through.

Many people, especially those in depression, think about suicide because they don't think their life is worth living; that nothing will get better for them. You need outside help if you have problems.

Look up Eyeopener by Brisk and Trixxy (disclaimer: it's edm). Believe it or not 10 years ago, when my Bipolar depression was at it's peak, I decided to commit suicide. I ran a bath set the razor blade on the edge of the tub. I decided to say goodbye to music, cause that's all that meant anything to me ( I'm not a people person), so I pressed play on my stereo on random and eyeopener came on. I stopped in my tracks. I don't know why I felt compelled to share that here but such is life.

There's a girl I care about more than anything in this life. She has a lot of problems and thinks that everyone's left her. Yesterday she was talking about suicide. I just wish that she and everyone else in the world who's ever thought of suicide could hear this song... Just once. God, this is amazing.

I'm sorry for the guys loss but really, it has no relevance to the song at all. People die, all the time, and making people feel guilty because they didn't simply give karma and recognition to a comment is just in poor form.

BUT, what you forget is that most people that have suicidal tendencies and problems to see the end of the tunnel will have a better life, a in some time. Maybe when they'll get a job, or when they'll have done school, or if they decide to change city, I dunno. But almost everytime, the situation could get better with time. And for those times, they should not give a fuck, bother living and go through.

@fragman08 He probably asked that because, generally speaking, that's a view that most younger people give to suicide. Usually teenagers. In my opinion however, there are a few things wrong with your statement. Many people, especially those in depression, think about suicide because they don't think their life is worth living; that nothing will get better for them. Usually when they're at this stage, they're so depressed that things can't go anywhere except up. Death is just an easy way out.

@trebot9292266 Wow. Okay. As someone in the mental heath field, I think you are not understanding how mental disorders and suicidal thoughts work. There are chemical imbalances and neural disorders that are uncontrollable. People like you are why the mentally ill go untreated and hurt themselves- disorders cannot be controlled through "self control". Medication and therapy are the solutions. You need outside help if you have problems.
