This song was on season 3 of Robin of Sherwood. It was meant to be released on legend 2 a second soundtrack to the show Robin of Sherwood but the album was never released. It is a haunting melody and one of Clannad's best.

When I see pictures of the stone houses, the green, that endless green fields, I feel I miss something, yet I still don't know what is that. Scottish and Irish Gaelic aren't identical, but are related, probably about as much as Spanish and Portuguese are. Like those two languages, they shade into each other, so someone from South Argyll and someone from Donegal can understand each other, but you get someone from Kerry and someone from Lewis and they can't understand a word-maybe pick out the odd word but no more.

The water imagery was great because it fits nicely with 'An farraige chiuin, agus suamhneas an oiche, an farraige chiuin ina codladh an oiche' meaning 'the sea is quiet, and the wind is peaceful, the quiet sea asleep in te wind' briefly.
