  • wow a speaker does the same thing

  • I want this video on my VK530 unit.

  • This vid went viral on United States of America

  • what is the winding sequence for this 124875 ?

  • Please attach some sort of speaker output to see if it can be properly used as a speaker.

  • i don't think you want to be using a doughnut magnet in the middle.

  • Wow, the magnet and the iphone was amazing! To think we are bombarded with so many wave lengths waiting to be transmitted into audible sound!

  • Skip to the end !

  • BURN THE WARLOCK!!!

BURN HIM WITH HIS BLACK MAGIC!!!

  • i can hear the magnets heartbeat! :D

  • 4:00 then you see all

  • Is there anything in the torus like a ferromagnetic fluid or something?

  • @pyromania321 There's the wire with running electricity, why would you think something so complicate as ferromagnetic fluid when the wire is pretty obviously coiled around the torus

  • the metal piece is attached to something

  • This such a complicated way of demonstrating the obvious!!

No offence but you do need some schooling on the subject...

  • Incredible !!!! you discovered the speakers.

  • 1:31 . that fuck ._.

xDDD jk . lmfao nice experiment . make more :>

  • this is to cool where did you get the single generator at ? i would really like to do some bill nye the science guy stuff to

    thanks

    Dan

  • 3:55 Epic halo music xD

  • lol i spoke too soon

  • hook it up to an amplified audio out, see what happens

  • Cool , now try an make it levitate off the earths magnetic field, then build a frame around the donut coil big enuff to stand in

  • nice, you've just created a speaker

  • have you stacked your coils ontop of each other?? i wonder what that would do? love your vids mate!! cheers

  • i liek the whale idea go with it LOL

  • play music through it

  • god damn, i hate british english

  • xD 3:17 he is doing what i love to do to stuck my head in the wall :D

  • Anyone feel a little sick listening to the sound?

  • clever stuff!!......and your point is...?

  • Science is gonna call this "Magnet abuse"

  • Has anyone ever tried putting a spherical shaped neodymium magnet inside a Rodin Coil?

I mean actually cut a small hole in the hollow donut and put the magnet in while an electric charge is applied to the coil.

I'm thinking that the neodymium ball will orbit around the inside of the donut while also spinning on its centripetal axis.

How do you connect the coil to a signal generator?

I'm doing some experiments and need some insight:

    watch?v=n5HJjpJivFg

  • Not thirdary, its tertary (I think thats how its spelt).

  • @nikulp68 tertiary

  • wow uv made a speaker

  • try different frequencies and you hear diff stations

  • ahhhh i see.. interesting..

    Offset Polarity's

  • thirdery??? tertiary, maybe? (no offence)

  • Maybe you could explain what you are doing here.

  • the arrangement of wires remind me of the way around the core of an atom, reproduced physically

  • I put a perfectly round hallow pure gold sphere that screws open and close at its middle and placed a grape inside of it and placed it in the middle of the rodin coil and left running on a 6volt current for 60 days and when I unscrewed the Gold Sphere. The grape was in perfect condition. We are still understanding what kept the grapr so fresh for so many days. Please help in our research.

  • I don't think you're vibrating the magnet. The magnet weighs too much to be oscillating at that speed with so little power. Rather, the wires are vibrating as their fields attract or repel the magnetostatic field of the magnet.

  • you are awesome! great video

  • This is very cool, and definitely interesting. How long did it take you to wind the first coil?

  • very cool

  • Excellent Experiment. Have you tried placing the magnet underneath the coil, and the tin-foil on top? See what you can get now?

  • AWESOME MAN

so trippy.. a homemade analog synthesizer.. awesome

  • IM GIVIN ER ALL SHES GOT CAPTAIN!!!!

  • ITS GONNA BLOW RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • OK now to explain the science behind the Al foil amplifying it a bit like that... although i might be completly wrong....

having the Al foil on its own wouldn't do anything

but putting the magnet down gives it a magnetic field that competes with the Coil. otherwise the foil would just inherit the magnetic field of just the coil

try running a current through the Foil without the magnets :P

  • Soo How is This The Key To Jet Engine,, Please????

    Lls

  • brilliant!

  • Oh yah I moved my coils 25 degrees out of phase i call it the bullshit coil.. pretty catchy huh

  • WOW!!!! That is awesome.... I Don't know what else to type but WOW!!!!

  • is the magnet best placed axially or diametrically & as a cylinder or coin shape in the center of the rodin coil?

  • You inspire me!

  • This is really cool! I made a very small speaker in this way:

Make a small tube from a bit of index card

Wrap very thin magnet wire around it, secure with tape

    Now here's the weird part:

Take a magnet, and run it around the dirt outside, and you will find that some sticks to it! Close the bottom of the tube off by taping index card to it. Add some to the tube. Keep doing this until the tube is half-full of magnetic dirt. Then close the top off with the same method. Apply audio using and amp!

  • Power to jet engine! :D

  • this my friend is very very very interesting

  • why the coil forms a 12 polygon instead of a 9 one?

  • awesome man

  • wow that part with music was well cooll!

  • @rallyboy88 i would assume it is resonating from inside the fisher price torus.

  • did you have to strip the insulation off the ends of the wire? i took some wire out of and old computer and it isnt really conducting electricity.

  • NIOBIUM

    Pronounced NY O BE UM

  • What would happen if you properly insulated your Rodin Coil...properly!...and immersed it in water and let it hang in the middle of a container filled with water and powering it up? {This sounds very dangerous as it involves electricity and water so it is not recommended to attempt unless you are an expert electrician.} I'm just curious as to know whether the power generated by the Rodin Coil would have any effect whatsoever on the water surrounding it. If not, no big deal...still i'm curious

  • Do you recon it would split the hydrogen & oxygen.

  • don't recon anything at all, just wondering whether being surrounded by the element of water could increase conductivity

  • @Jimbowhap It must affect the atomic structure of a water molecule in some way...and yes...one that may affect the hydrogen &/or oxygen.....water is an element i think we've very much underestimated.

  • When you place water in the Center of the Coil... does it still try to repel at HIGH frequency ? i want to see its reaction with water

  • Are you speaking English?

  • If you turn that up high enough. Time will stop within the coil. try it and see

  • Thanks for an excellent experiment. My questions:

    1. What voltage level did you use to drive the coil?

    2. What was the amount of D.C. offset you used to move the neo magnet?

    3. Are you driving the coil through the power amp shown in your video?

    4. What is the inductance of the coil?

    Please continue your experiments.

  • Voltage was about 8 volts, +-4v I have driven it through the power amp but it only has the frequency of 0-20000Hz.

I will have to check the inductance on my meter....

    Paul.

  • @kubikop what is that device called, wich can generate frequency?

  • Frequency, signal, or function generator,

  • @kubikop how long did it take you to make the coil?

  • @kubikop Exellent videos. I've viewed all your Rodin coil projects. The ones that "m interested in are the DC off set spin control, that you've posted. I'd like to build one with certain dementions. Do you know the proportion of the outside diameter of the donut/toroid compared to the finished inside diameter of the conpleted coil, such as an 8" OD will finish with a 2" ID or 1:1/5 proportion. The one I'm designing is to be 2 11/16" or 68.5mm inside diameter. Thanks, keep up the research.

  • wow ,vibrational waves,IT THE BEGINNING THERE WAS THE WORD ,AND THE WORD WAS SOUND.

    beautiful!!!

  • Cheers....

  • That is called a loudspeaker

  • I did well then, as long as it was not a quite speaker.....

  • That was amazing! Such an interesting coil.

  • Yeah, please look into Rodins Maths on the subject...

    Paul..

  • Why? It's numerology, not maths.

You would know this if you were a mathmetician. You would also know if you were either a physicist or an electrician that there is a) nothing unique about this and b) it has zero applications. It's just a weak faulty electromagnet

  • is the copper you wrapped around it like ribbon and not skinny gauged wire??

  • Thanks for the compliment , no its one wire pain sneakingly wrapped.

I kept tension on the wire at all times to make the ribbon effect.

    Paul..

  • The beastie boys!! How cool. Very interesting. When you did the magnate thing. I was thinking " how would it sound as a speaker? " Well you answered my question. ;)

It's funny you use kids toys for your projects...

I'm excited for your next videos!

  • We are all kids at heart...

  • Isn't the Aluminum Foil behaving as a Diaphram?

  • It might be, but only when it is place between the magnet and the coil even when there is space between all three of them, Ill look into this a bit mode I think.

    Thanks

    Paul..

  • Can you confirm that the North Pole in the middle charges and discharges an Iron Rod, turning it into a monopole, (which in conventional science shouldn't exist) My guess is that the reason we see a monopole with just the North is due to there being what is called a "BLACK POLE" which it's as if you stuck a dipole magnetized rod in a black hole, what you would see is only 1 pole the south pole is consumed by the tiny black pole.

  • If the Iron Rod fluctuates the North pole, would you agree that then it's possible to build a solid state power generator with no moving parts by using the solid fluctuations of the Iron Rod to pump through some coils electricity? I would love to see an experiment like these with your setup. You have really great stuff to test this out. I really like the way you controlled to motion of the magnet. This could be a way to control the direction of the "BLACK POLE" (which is still a hypothesis)

  • Thanks.

I have never heard of "Black Poles" but ill read up on it.

You should look at crob227 s work on Ed leedskalnin he has some very interesting videos on single poles, that I need to catch up on too.

    Paul..

  • that would make a great milkshake mixer!!

  • lol, One strawberry coming up....

  • 5:17 things get interesting...!

  • You just made a crude speaker.

  • I think there is more to it than that, as the cone does not need to be connected to either the magnet or the coil? Any thoughts?

    Paul..

  • hey... if you use a superconductive metal like yttrium barium copper oxide to replace the structure you're using to wrap the coil around (the purple part) or fill the interior with boron gas or another similar superconductive medium... then it should act as an antigravitational device when exposed to certain frequencies...

  • I will try this, do you now where I can get some, or was you offering to send some to me??

    Paul..

  • You could make some great speakers out of this coil could you not?

  • yeah I was thinking of using the Plasma speaker for the treble....

    Paul..

  • Try clamping a sheet of plain paper (all 4 sides) horizontally just over the coil then rest the neo on the paper center of your coil, see what results you get

  • Thanks for the idea, buy aluminum works best....

    Paul..

ps Any other ideas are welcome though....

  • Paul's boutique by the beastie boys is one my fav album's. Keep experimented and be careful.

    Faith, Hope and LOVE :)

  • I droping the the new science &

I've been Kickin' the new K Knowledge

Nice One, the Beatie Boys Rock and it 20 years old Now!

    Thanks for noticing..... ;)

  • the dc offset experiment is fascinating.

  • Thanks, I think you can change the middle of the coil to be North or South. But Ill do a video showing the resistance of the coil changing with magnets... Very interesting...

    Paul..

ps Ill have to take a look at your videos, your Honeycomb coil looks fascinating...

  • I think the thin foil helps to amplify the sound because its surface is much larger than the magnet's, and also because it moves a lot easier.

  • Wait, it made a sound before you touched it with the magnet. That I just can't explain....

  • I know, Its like it reacts with the aluminum in a Lenz Effect....

    Much to find out....

    Paul..

  • Actually the tin foil is "amplifying" the movement of the magnet itself. Much like in the old times someone going deaf would use a horn-like device to hear properly.

  • Now that is an interesting subject on its own.

Of course, since the tin foil has a larger surface than the magnet, it will move more air than the magnet, and thus encounter more resistance. So it will need more power.

But acoustical amplification is very interesting indeed, take for example a simple resonator. It could just be a simple box, but connected to a tuning fork or a string, it can amplify the initial sound many, many times. But does that make the sound last for a shorter time? Nope...

  • Nabo00o: I have never thought of it like that before.... Like a guitar the duration of the note is the same..... Thats well interesting..... Any ideas why or how?

    Paul..

  • cafeconpizza: Yeah I thought that to start with but it seems to only do it when its between the coil and the magnet, even when they have physical space between all three.

  • Well actually yes, I have speculated about this and other effects for a long time now, I'm still not sure if I got the core of it, but it seems logical enough.

The short reason is this; parametric oscillation, and resonance.

I believe the Milkovic pendulum uses the exact same effect.

The input vibrations (sound or mechanical) will drive some form of oscillator into resonance. But it is not drained directly when loaded in the 2-stage way, instead it is its center parameter which is loaded.

  • Likewise, the sound-waves in a resonator 'resonates' the interior walls into powerful motion which ultimately emits a second set of sound-waves, being much larger in amplitude.

If you have an electric guitar, try to place its neck onto a table or a door, or anything which has a large and solid, but also 'loose' surface. You will hear the difference.

Just to mention it, I think this is also the workings behind the rotorverter, and also some types of resonant transformers...

  • I will look into this further thanks for the explanation.

When I was young tuning forks fascinated me! and magnets, I thought they were magic......

  • Cheers!

  • No Worries!

  • Wow very nice, pretty nice rodin coil, yeah it's geometry is amazing and it generates a magnetic vortex which in turn with sufficient power can create a B-field torsion effect.

  • Thats the theory, lets see if its true.....

    Any thoughts how much power?

    Paul..

  • Hey Paul, I'd say high voltage, start with the power grid and see what kind of fluids you can move with it. Prob you can see the vortex with iron powder as it is.

  • I have a 7.5kv NST and a variac so, the answer is where di I want to start up to 7.5Kv 60mA..

    ;-)

    Paul..

  • Wow you got alot of power there, pump it up! Prob. you'll get a pretty good magnetic flux density and even more interesting results.

  • very cool!

  • Cheers Mate!

  • Nice, can't wait to see it done.

  • And me, Ill do the second winding soon!

  • ok this is on some coral castle type ish!

  • What is a Coral Castle?

    Paul..

  • Can somebody clue me about who Rodin is/was.

Looks interesting; love to see what it might do in a cryrogenic tank.

  • if im not mistaken, michael rohden is an average joe with no science background. a home inventor, and invented this. i hear that this coil is very special.

  • From what I have see so far these coils are well Interesting and have some strange properties....

    Paul..

  • Marko Rodin

  • Probewitch, Yeah would it run as a superconductor?? Who Knows....

    Paul..

  • secret of the universe! never heard about the rodin coil before this, thank you :)

  • No Problem, watch this space. Im going to test it with everything I can think of and video it, suggestions welcome...

    Paul..

  • what does it do? other than whats shown?

  • To my understanding it does everything a regular coil can do, but with less resistance to itself due to the wires crossing at near right angles, and of course, the right hand rule.

Kubikop, have you seen Rodin's lecture? No doubt his coil was a brilliant find, but I couldn't make much sense out of the rest of his theory.

  • Its a lot easier than you think, Basically a guy in india years ago invented the Zero and base 10 to whatever was born.

The universe either has something or it does not. To represent something in the world as a zero makes no sense because it means it is not there. But addition works in real life.

Its like long division, you can not divide things into parts and have something left over, maths is flawed. If you do long division and have a remained of 2 then it does not work in the real world..

  • PM me if you want to discuss it....

Maths and numbers are just representations of what you imagine in your mind....

    Paul..

  • i've never seen someone comment soo much on their own video. EPIC.

  • I love his videos. I think it's great that he interacts with all of us. =]

  • Thanks

  • Looks great, I cant wait to see it fully wound, but what are you going to use it for?

  • You and me both, I will video every step..

I want to make a motor out of it and also a ........... you will have to watch the videos.. ;-)

    Paul..

  • lol hi there im the first viewer that's awesome.

  • Well you are the second.... I still remember making the video...

    ;-)

    Paul..

  • wow that is really nice i bet its going to take forever to finish

  • I Always like to take my time, thats what makes me thorough..

    Paul..

  • Just finished the second coil....... One more to go!

    Paul..
