The great thing about this show is it helps to break down the stupid stereotypes that westerners think of muslim people. What beautiful, dear, non pretentious people.
dude, is justine really 47? she doesnt even look 47, she looks so much younger! she looks like she's in her lates 30s or early 40s. someone on the internet said she's 41, and i believed them! she does not look 47!
women her age usualy lose their sense of humor, but im glad she hasnt!
well it seems I missed this series when it came out, but at least there is some to view on youtube. I would absolutely love to do this same traveling, but I have four kids! now that would be a show haha!
i wanna see this movie! when ian wright was there it seemed so terrible, but maybe justine will show it from a better perspective! this probably isnt as good as promises though!
what a privilege young mateo has had in being on a wonderful journey through iran, with experiences which must have enriched him for life :) i find this to be such a commendable initiative by justine (whom i reckon is great with the globetrekking stuff too). can't wait to watch this
Brava! I'm sure that I will love this documentary and I miss Justine on Globe Trekker! No oner can tell a story like Justine Shapiro. Is there any way to contact her or is there a website for this documentary?
Truly stunning work Justine. I always admired your work on the original Lonely Planet series, and I eagerly await the chance to see this completed film.
nice but why do you have to only show the f***ed up parts of ran? why why why???? there is alot more in Iran than freakin' chador and religious ones. there are a lot of better places than what you have filmed. why do you want to only point out the down sides? why why why?????
Please don't judge a book by its cover! Rest assured that this documentary is very positive on Iran and is intended to dispell the myth (West negative propaganda) about Iranians. Also, please don't confuse the Mullahs with people of faith (Muslims in this case).
I'm sure that you will admire this documentary (expected in Oct'08). Stay tuned!
