This movie actually IS the worst ever: Day turns into night at least 5 times in one scene, an actor dies during the filming, and he`s replaced with a guy half a meter taller than the original, UFOs hang in strings, when a door is shut, the whole office wall shakes, the alien base is a lemon squisher.........

but.......

This movie has crossed the legendary line of ultimate badness......

when a movie crosses that line, it becomes simply awesome!!! Thumbs up if you agree whit me! FUK YAH!!

@olvimann Bela didn't die during the filming according to Ed Wood (movie) there was a series of footage that Ed shot before conceiving this movie and wanted to "bring him back from the dead" for his final film... nothing freak happened like with what "The Crow" and Brandon Lee

Wood only got a few clips of him, but to honour his memory he used those clips(several times :D) and hired his wife`s chiropractor to play the rest of the part. as you can see, the zombie is about 2 m tall and has his face covered all the time.

@olvimann ah ok, I stand corrected than... in the Tim Burton version it seemed he died before the movie was set for filming, Bela wanted Wood to make another movie, and anther movie so Wood took Bela's requests and started taking shots for no real purpose and than the movie proposal came to be which was when the chiropractor came into play, I did remember the vampire face covered scene, which was after Bela had died, he was only in the first part of the movie but the footage was about a week old

@olvimann again, I can't agree with that... his films were a flop during their time but just like every great artist, he is now known for his films after his death. I think Tim Burton was inspired by his work as I was further inspired to keep up with my own dreams, I did love Glen or Glenda since he used his own talent for the film and some great actors in the movies, you gotta think... 1940-1950's was hard to find real graphics for their movies, as much as we joke about it, he had talent.

Ed Wood could really come through in a pinch when they needed special effects too. Need some flying saucers over Hollwood? Just get some guys to dangle hubcaps on strings over a fake model of Hollywood. LOL

In 'Bride of the Monster,' just have Lugosi wiggle around with the stolen fake rubber octopus so it looks like it's killing him, because they forgot to steal the motor that made the legs move. Or have Bela wear boots with ridiculously obvious high heels so he looks "atomic and superhuman".

cool fact about lugosi, when he first came to the states to make movies, he could not speak a word of english. he ended up learning is lines funetically. sylabol by sylabol. this is why (when dracula) he spoke in such a broken manner. it ended up making his performence THAT much more terrifying.
