NFL 2K5 is still the best football game ever made, in terms of overall quality. Phenomenal presentation AND great gameplay, while sadly we are still waiting patiently for at least one of those two things with the NCAA Football series of games, 5 years removed from this entry.

Damn, people got screwed with NCAA Football 07 on PS3/360. The PS2 version was way better that year. Trust me I have NCAA 07 on PS2, great game. I played 07 on PS3, that game sucked ass.

10) Hey EA, how about some creativity in the defensive playbooks? Seriously. There is NO variety at all. half the plays are exactly the same. If you're too lazy to be creative, bring out a new feature that will allow me to create defensive/offensive plays myself.

8) Mobile QB's - I put a spy on the QB only to watch the idiot stand there and watch the QB run right by him. Either that or they just move out of the way

9) DB's are dumb as dirt in zone cvg - for example, I'll be playing cover 3 and the corner is responsible for the deep left. There is only ONE receiver on the entire left side of the field and he is in his area. Instead of covering him, the idiot continues to run to nowhere and get toasted

4) DB's are stupid: part 3 - I am sick and tired of watching passes go 2 inches over my hands or to the left because the DB is too stupid to move his hands

5) The defense overpersues almost every play

6) In man cvg, CBs can not cover a slant to save their life

7) LB's bite on play action almost everytime: it could be 3rd and 53 and they will still bite. Also, will someone please teach the defense to cover the FB out of the backfield on play actions?

I'll name a few

1) When Dlinemen run stunt routes, they are unblocked 90% of the time

2) DB's are absolutely stupid. You can run go routes every play if you want because the DB's are not smart enough to run BESIDE the receiver. They keep running into the back of the WR and get burnt

3) DB's are stupid - I am sick and tired of watching people heave passes into triple cvg only to watch the DB's stand there doing nothing

NCAA 09 Looks wayyyyy better than 07...

I think that 07 was good but yeah NCAA 09 whoops it's ass. Pro football is boring though. I like college football because it has way more hype and games on the line and season-ending games that will determine a season for a team. If you know what I mean.

Great job man, I was thinkn' tha same shyt when I first popped the game in, as far as the game start, and championship wins graphics, just a damn pop up screen, that sucks. But I wouldn't trade that game 4 nothing. I have Madden 07 for the 360 too, and I play NCAA more often, nothin' against Madden, but I like recruiting players rather than bidding on them.

Good review. EA definitely needs to do something about presentation: another set of sportscasters, highlights of other games during dynasty mode, the 'espn gameday' feel, better analysis, etc. But the thing I really want to see is a 1AA playoff mode. I propose you get in if you beat your rival team. Maybe the opportunity to substitute 1A teams in to the playoff bracket.

Why are the names displayed for the players? I like it, I was just wondering because in my '06 game, it is just their position and number. I like the all the Auburn examples by the way! WAR EAGLE!
